What an amazing business. The consultant who came to do the quote was so helpful and took the time to go through samples with me, the staff on the phone were always polite and friendly, the installer was courteous taking his shoes off when coming inside and leaving the room clean and tidy, and just in general the whole process from start to finish was pleasant and problem free. Would highly recommend.

I just wanted to thank the Chris and the crew who installed our plantation Shutters at 22 Lister Ave Beresfield. They were very friendly and the quick with there service. I love our shutters and the neighbours have commented. Also they placed vertical blinds at a Rental property for us. We were told 4 weeks but we ordered through them and got them done in 3 weeks. Very, very happy with finished product and everyone that we dealt with was happy, professional and efficient. The only reason that it is not a 5 star review is because I felt I wasn't really kept informed of how my order was progressing and when the blinds/curtains would be ready. I felt like I had to make all the phone calls regarding this. The product I recieved though was 5 star - would definately use Somerset again.

Could not be happier with our PVC Shutters from Somerset. The shutters arrived within the time frame advised. We are please with the quality and how they have been installed. The pictures speak for themselves. We would use Somerset for any future window furnishings as well as recommend them highly for anyone looking to do the same. Cheers!

The plantation shutters are beautiful! From the first point of contact with Robyn for an estimate and ending with Aaron and Ashley who installed all the different sized windows perfectly, our experience was the highest level of professionalism and efficiency. The installers cleaned up after themselves so well, there wasn't any evidence they had been there, except for the drastic difference the plantation shutters made to our home. Not long afterward, I closed the blinds when I put the air con on to test the difference with shutters vs curtains; it wasn't long before I felt the amazing natural insulation the shutters gave to help cool the room. For the first time I turned down the temperature. The shutters are already proving value. The last thing is this, the estimate Robyn gave us on the wooden plantation shutters, when we compared all the estimates we looked at from other places of business, they were the winners. Somerset Curtains and Blinds are a company of integrity and I am proud to write and rate a review on them, for they have given me nothing but good words to report. I feel like it is doing business with people from long ago who stood behind their work and their word, where you knew you could trust their business and trust your money was going to something that would benefit your home, but also enjoyed knowing your payment was going to a small company that you would want to see succeed.Thank you Somerset Curtains & Blinds. We have used Somerset in the past and had an amazing experience. As a result; I highly recommend them to my clients at work and have sent a lot of business their way. When we renovated our second house, it was a no brainer, we would use them again.What a mistake!Our experience has been horrible.They left one curtain off our quote, despite two check measures. Unfortunately we missed it in the wording of their quote given the level of renovations we were undertaking.We of course went into the pandemic during all of this, however there was absolutely no communication from Somerset as to delays or what their plans were, despite having thousands of our dollars.I understand we are in a pandemic (as they like to remind me when I eventually do hear from them), but a simple email to all customers they were holding funds for could not have hurt.We’ve had multiple issues with the items supplied, which to date; Somerset have rectified, however one of our S-fold curtains is faulty. I tried following up for a month with multiple calls and emails, only to be advised that they have ‘no obligation to “collect” your product to modify it’. Despite the installer saying that’s what they would do. We have already paid them the entire balance.I’m not one to write negative reviews, but given at this stage we’ve been told they have no intensions on fixing a faulty product, I would hate for other customers to experience the same fate.
