Our first visit was on Valentine's Day (when most of the other restaurants in Kiama were shut because it fell on a Tuesday....) Lovely vibe and decor. The food was a set banquet menu and everything was delicious, with the steamed perch a stand-out. We would definitely go back and have to say Wildginger is the best restaurant in Kiama. Only negative was that we were on our 3rd entree before the bottle of wine we had ordered was served and we had to ask where it was, but in a small town if that's the worst service issue you encounter you're doing well. Staff seemed genuinely happy and were pleasant.

We've now been several times to Wild Ginger Kiama and it's always amazing. The food is second to none - so fresh and flavoursome. And the service is awesome. No rushing - very relaxed. My favourite restaurant in Kiama.

Wildginger Kiama
The most disappointing meal I have had in a long time. We took the family for my husband's birthday on Wednesday and all had the $79 banquet. Cocktails took over 30 minutes to arrive, the entrees were very basic and so were the mains. Expect much more from a restaurant of this calibre, would have saved ourselves a few hundred $ had we gone to our favourite Thai in Wollongong and enjoyed much better food. So disappointed.

Shared the Signature Banquet with my best friends, and had the BEST night. The space was inviting and we were made to feel so welcome. The south East Asian food was some of the best I have had in Australia...there was not one dish I didn't enjoy and devour. We're here for two nights and I'm seriously considering going back for more! Thank you!

Awesome cocktails and service, Kiosk also does the BEST and freshest fish and chips in Kiama with house made aioli. Can enjoy a glass of wine while you wait. All round great place to visit while you’re in town :)

We had a group of 6 dine at Wild Ginger Kiama over the weekend and we indulged in the signature banquet. It was simply one of the best dining experiences we have had. All the food was unique, flavourful and in good portion. Cocktails were delicious and service was on point. Can not recommend this place enough!!

Found this restaurant last minute. So glad we did, was so impressed with the quality of food and drinks on offer. Also from the moment of meeting with Kieran he could not have done enough, was such a delight to chat to. It’s obvious, and it shows, he has poured his heart and soul into Wild Ginger and has much to give, we enjoyed his fabulous food and fusion it was excellent , sophisticated but relaxed dining. Thoroughly enjoyed everything, couldn’t fault anything. Well done, we will be back and recommend this as a great dining option (especially without the kids), like we did. Paul

10/10 would recommendTook my friends and fam here, get treated like absolute royalty with out dining experience at Wildginger. Both the floor staff and the lovely bar manager are extremely good and their jobs, and were so helpful and prompt with all service.We had the banquet and all dishes were divine. Definitely went home with a full belly.Their cocktail menu had a cool range of exciting drinks to try!Definitely a great place to go out for a nice dinner in Kiama!

Was there with family on a Saturday night and had the banquet. The food was sensational, the steamed ocean perch melted in your mouth and the crispy pork belly was cooked perfectly. The margaritas were on point, I had to try all 3! The staff were friendly and accommodating, we had a new born in a pram. Will be popping in every time we’re on the East Coast.
