Absolutely terrible service I received from the team at telstra today. We waited at least 10 minutes for a staff member to approach us, only for us to inform them that we were there for our pre-booked appointment. We then waited another 15 minutes for the consultant to see us. He then refused to help us as my partner had forgotten his ID. I tried asking for alternative options to do a ID verification check, despite my partner having digital copies on his phone of his ID. I explained that it's a 2hr return trip for us to make our way to our closest telstra store, and he still showed no sympathy or interest in helping us at all after waiting 30 minutes to see him.As someone who has been loyal to telstra for as long as I've had a phone, I've never received service as disappointing as I had received today. I definitely won't be returning and see absolutely no reason to stay with telstra.

Hope this way I might get a reply. Phoned the store first thing Friday morning and left a message, was told I would get a same day reply. Phoned again in the afternoon and got same message. Now Monday night and I tried twice today, same result. Just finished resolving last Telstra mistake which took over 7 months, hope it won't take that long to get a replacement sim card. Fingers crossed they reply.

Telstra Whitsundays has to be the most unhelpful store I have ever visited.I attended to ask some questions about my storage in my phone that is on a plan with Telstra. I was asked to make an appointment and they would see me within 30 min- the lady that booked my appointment was very polite and tried to help the best she could60 min later I returned to the store to enquire about how long the wait would be and was Treated extremely disrespectfully with customers walking in around me and being served immediately as they were angry about somethingSeveral staff were standing around doing nothing and didn’t even acknowledge us entering the storeAfter having a fantastic experience in Darwin, Nick at the store in Airlie beach’s customer service and all round attitude toward his customers is appalling.Nick was degrading in the way he spoke to me, He was argumentative and not knowledgeable even googling some questions I asked him right in front of me and reading the response directly off the screen.As a result of this, I did cancel an internet plan I had with Telstra todayNick was disinterested and Rude and I would never recommend Telstra to anyone after the experience I had today.I hope the feedback could reach the store to try to Help Nick improve on his Customer service Skills

Service takes a while at the moment due to low staff numbers so be prepared to leave your details and come back once you reach the top of the 'queue'. Good service from the staff however.

My phone had been hacked and I drove from Bowen toCannonvale for help. The young man who served me knew nothing. He was unhelpful abrupt and really didn't even try to do anything. He said if I deleted my contacts, groups etc, I would have to enter them individually. I told him on a number of occasions that I DID NOT DELETE THEM.. He never even bothered to check out my phone and said we don't handle these problems, we're just a service provider.I came home. and spent time talking to Google and got my phone back to where it was without having to re-enter anything. I'm not computer savvy, I'm 75 years old. So I believe you're paying someone who would be better off sweeping floors.SincerelySheila Firth
