I brought my son's here for the kids jiu-jitsu classes and it has been so great, they have learned so much and progressed very well. Ben is a fantastic teacher, very patient and clear. Very friendly environment. Highly recommend!

A great place to learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu! Ben is an excellent instructor that creates a welcoming and easy environment to learn.I had not trained in BJJ before joining and so was a little nervous. However, everyone that attends is friendly and eager to help people out on their BJJ journey. It has a good diverse mix of people; some are training to compete, others just for fitness.I highly recommend to anyone that is interested in learning something new.

I joined JJM in Melbourne 4 months ago and can honestly say it’s been the highlight of my short time in Australia so far. I have never trained martial arts prior to this. There are no egos here. Only the desire to train and improve. Ben (head coach) thinks like an engineer- he breaks down complex systems in a way that you can apply to the fundamentals of bjj when you are starting out. I have been made to feel incredibly welcome by everyone there. An amazing group of humble, respectful killers! I have started my own bjj journey that I know will allow me to further develop both on the mat and off. My thanks to everyone at the club. OOOS!

I did Jiu Jitsu for the first time when I came and all I can say is fantastic! Great environment, friendly staff and so much fun! Thank you Ben and his team for teaching me some moves! Cant wait to go back!

I joined the club about three months ago, just before the lockdowns started back again. Even if I could attend just a few classes, I have to say it was an incredible experience. The club environment and culture are fantastic; everybody is friendly and supportive and goes to great lengths to get you up to speed. Coach Benjamin is a great teacher, and even during the lockdown, he keeps us students engaged through other activities such as strength and conditioning via Zoom.The sport itself is incredible and will teach you a lot about life and resilience. I can't wait to be back!

I've played or trained in a variety of sports my whole adult life. At 47 I was looking for something else. A friend recommended BJJ. I found JJM Melb and have not looked back. Coach Ben is wonderful person, coach and training partner. He's has created a caring, warm environment to learn, challenge yourself and succeed. I'm about to turn 50 and really can't see myself stopping. Awesome crew and lots of fun. Come down. Cheers Trent

A super friendly training environment free from ego; all partners are genuinely supportive of each other's training journey. Led by awesome teachers. The kid's classes are technical as well as super fun, all to the credit of the amazing coaches. Highly recommend!
