Warning! Perilously large portions ahead. If you’re asking yourself whether it’s worth peeling off the highway for the trip into Kempsey. The food and coffees at this cafe make the answer a resounding yes. Best omelette I’ve had in ages. My kids loved their buttermilk pancakes but struggled to finish due to the generous meal sizes. Also happy to report that the days of palatable coffee being a city-centric phenomena are well behind us.Top marks to Robbie and her friendly team. We’ll be back.

I've been going here daily and twice on some days for nearly 4 years. Simply the best coffee and best choice of coffee's in these parts. I am no gastronome, but, I cannot speak highly enough of the meals. Look around and the faces are always the same. Speaks volumes. Supremely welcoming owners/staff; quiet enough if that's what you're after and while the streetscape is nothing spectacular the clientele are an eclectic bunch certain to highlight the day. I should know.

What a delightful lunch! Driving north from Newcastle we stopped in Kempsey and found our way here. Friendly. Great service and a couple of bowls of soup that were just delicious. Refreshed we stepped on that highway happy and with a whole different view of this little town . Great ambassadors for the food on offer here.

11/1/18: Good selection of food - breakfast, morning tea or lunch. Great for catching up with friends and having a chat. Had Green tea and gluten-free apple rhubarb cake - came with extra fruit on side. Friend had great cup of cappuccino with lemon citrus tart. Very tasty.Sushi lunch takeaway Thursday 18/1/18: seafood sushi - great tasting. Cost $10. Pic attached.

Robbie's has changed hands recently... Miss the old guy that always took my coffee order...Honey soy rolls are ok... But sloppily wrapped and noodles were a bit rawGood on them for trying extend the menu a bit though.

Had some time to kill while in Kempsey this morning. Stopped in here for a coffee. Lovely friendly atmosphere and tasty coffee!Was a shame I'd already had breakfast, as the menu had a good selection and was well priced. Bacon and eggs that went to another table looked and smelled delicious!!Thank you! Will definitely stop by next time I'm up this way!!

Beautiful coffee, truly the best in town. The lovely lady barista is amazing, perfect temperature and texture every time. Will come back for my coffees again and again. Thankyou for a happy experience!
