CENTAHEALTH MENAI GENERAL PRACTICE

Had a Telehealth apt and doctor said would send through script asap as was concerned whether I should go to hospital or take pain killers. Waited over 2 hours after numerous calls and kept saying he sent it and wouldn’t send again. Never received it. I turned up at the surgery asking for it to be done by another doctor as this doctor refused to send again or call me back to explain. Waited another half hour to even get it after I refused to leave without it! Poor form. Had no problem billing straight away.

Arrived early Saturday morning 7:45am for a walk-in appointment. Opening times on website, phone message and door sign all day 8am.Walked away at 9:15am as nobody even opened the clinic up. Tried to be patient and wait but that is ridiculous.

One star is too high for this medical Centre. Waited over one and a half hours. Was never told of the extended wait time. When I asked the receptionist it would have been a courtesy to tell of the extended waiting time he told me to sit down and not speak to him. Very rude. They over book patients out of greed and then no effort is made to keep to time. It’s disgusting. Will never use this place again.

I wondered if I was alone in finding that the man at reception was very nasty to me, but I came to check the reviews and can see that’s definitely not the case. The first time I called in asking for a dermatologist who can prescribe roaccutane (as not all can/will), he laughed at me and belittled me, and when I tried to call and reschedule my second appointment, he was rude again and refused to book me another appointment so I was guilted to go in. What a cruel and nasty little man. I won’t be going back and it’s a shame because Dr Ho is so lovely and has a much shorter wait time than many dermatologists around. I hope he leaves this owner and his dreadful practice.

Walked in to request a GP and advised nil available. Called 2 weeks later and advised still no GPs available. When I questioned as to why the practice was still open the manager rudely answered back “Well why do YOU think we are still open?…”What do YOU think we should do??…”We are either open or we are not” and said thankyou and hung up the phone.The manager is very rude if you walk in and request an appointment without a booking. If you do manage to request an appointment in advance you will be waiting over 2 hours anyway and they will still see walk ins before you.

1 star is too much for this place.Friday midday I injured my finger with the blender, I was panicking because blood was coming from everywhere. I went to this medical centre as it's the closest to me.The receptionist looked at some guy without talking and I was explaining my situation. Apparently the guy is the attending doctor, Dr.Ali.He stood there watching me , eventually he told after looking at my swollen finger, you DEFINITELY need stitches. They looked at each other for few seconds and he left.The receptionist told me to come back at 1.45pmI looked at the time and it was 12.15 pm. Apparently, Dr.Ali needed to go have his lunch, for 1 and a half hour.I went to Bangor medical centre for the first time as well.Dr Chang was on his lunch break but came and spent over 40 min stitching my finger.I wouldn't be so upset if Dr Ali gave another excuse but seriously how can you leave a patient bleeding while you are the only available Dr.

I made an appointment to Centahealth General practice, Menai Marketplace, Allison Crescent for 11:30 am. A long line was moving, people who recently came, were going to GP one after another, and I was still waiting. The nurse, who I approached and explained that I made an appointment, had an injury, have at the moment an acute pain, hasn't paid any attention to my words. Finally, at 12:40-12:45, when the waiting room was empty, I went to GP surgery. Nor the receptionist, neither the nurse or a manager have explained to me what is going on and why this disorder has happened. The nurse from this service should never-ever choose a medical profession as the latest assumes care, mercy and attention to sick people. She has shown only cruelty and indifference. Try to avoid this little lady as you will not obtain any help... Though the GP Dr, Ali was very attentive to me and very kind. But everything surrounding the appointment was just awful... Extremely unprofessional practice and very disappointing experience. After reading all negative reviews I couldn't understand how this Center is still alive and how AHPRA is regulating businesses similar to the Centahealth...

The worst doctors surgery in the area.Manager is rude and laughs in your face mocking you when you try and ask how much longer the wait will be. Reception staff provide wrong information, lie about wait times. Doctor was more interested in adding my sexual history and contraception history into his file, and when asked what it had to do with what I was there for, he said nothing, I just want to add it to your profile.Do not come here, ever.

Slowest doctors/place I ever seen/been too! My appointment was at 10:30am I got there 30 mins earlier. I didn’t get in till 12pm. Waited 2 hours and making even worse they only had 1 doctor available, not sure if this is everyday thing. BUT I will not come back after waiting such a long time for 10 mins appointment. I felt sorry for the other customers who had to wait such a long time like I did.

Waiting for more than an hour against a confirmed booking without seen by a doctor. The reception man simply smiling sarcastically said it is a free service so don’t complain. I said they can at least try to do better. He replied so unprofessionally that don’t try to teach us.
