Newton's Nerds Computer Repair Services

The only time I ever went to Newton's Nerd's as a customer, my friend's laptop was not working and we needed to access the data urgently- but it was trapped in an 'update loop'. Brett fixed it in five minutes with no charge.(Pls note, Brett is a good friend of mine)

They ultimately they did fix my computer. But there are some flaws in the way they conduct business. For one they don't give you any type of receipt when you drop off your computer, so you have no kind of signed document that they have your property. They fixed my computer promptly. I didn't get a txt about my computer, I had to call them about it. They also said they would charge 150$ to save all my documents. Not sure why it's so expensive but I said no way to that! Lewie told me on the phone that it would be 100$ to fix my computer, when I come in to pick it up they quote me a price 15$ higher than agreed on over the phone. He claimed he told me the correct price on the phone but I wasn't going to argue a he said she said argument. I paid the remainder of my bill and they gave me no invoice explaining what I was charged for and what was done to my computer. More needs to be clearly in writing and communicated. But otherwise I do feel like I got a fair price and I have a working computer back! Thanks guys!

I couldn't have found a better company to develop my website! These guys are not only good at what they do on a technical level, but they are really excellent communicators. My website looks fantastic and is more that what I expected. I couldn't recommend Newton's Nerds highly enough!

It was a disaster, so I called Peter and, with Brett, the 2 Newton nerds, in less than one hour, fixed the document allowing me to send my completed PhD to the University. A series of unfortunate events - first impressions.I was initially impressed with Brett from Newton's Nerds (NN) for his swift response time to my on-line enquiry.I placed a booking for the 26th of March, 2013 after the initial contact.On the day of my consultation, I went to the address supplied by Brett. Once I arrived I noticed that the 'Newton's Nerds' was nowhere to be found on the business directory of that building and in it's place was an architecture business.After numerous texts, calls and an hour wait. I decided to call and visit to NN's other site to see if any one was there. No luck.I receive a call, a few days later from Brett apologising for the mix-up and that he had supposedly sent me a text to say he was not available for the 26th but his colleagues were. He also told me that NN shared a studio with the architecture firm (it would've been nice to know this when I first supplied the address)I accepted that it was unfortunate mistake and tried schedule another booking. However, due my busy schedule I did not book for another time.On the 7th of May, I placed another on-line booking for the 8th of May.It is currently the 15th of May ... still no response.Disappointing would be an understatement. Brett seems like a really nice guy but I have an extremely tight schedule and can't afford to wait around for days on end.
