Rob and Indy are two of the nicest most helpful people but thats not all....ROB can fix anything and works quickly and cleanly. Recenrly my husband was slashing on our place using a 1958 tractor. It stopped suddenly and would not start. He checked all the usualy as he is a bit handy ....no luck. Couldnt tow it as the motor had to run to lift the slasher. Rang Indi and in about 15 mins Rob came out, and even though the tractor was older than he is had it diagnosed and runnibg in no time . Thats oldfashioned service along with real knowledge. We took the Tarago in to R . & I. Automotive this morning for a general service and inspection. As usual great service at a good price. We are so pleased that Indy and Rob chose to move to Ravenshoe and start up their business. We had been so disheartened with the poor service we were getting in Atherton on both our vehicles and were delighted to get a real mechanic to look after our vehicles. And to be so close to home. Fantastic. Thanks, guys.

Don't believe all they tell you they have done to your car. I was charged for items which later I was told they could not do. My first bill was $160 not resolving my problem. After returning to the workshop with the same unresolved problem and and two hours work later, another bill of $300 .....complaining about the bill it was reduced by $100 ........THEN, when I checked the car, the problem was still there - NO CHANGE TO WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR IN THE FIRST DAY. Final result a $100 discount on my bill and then another $120 cash refund. In conclusion: I have paid $260 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We are Grey Nomads here today gone tomorrow......... We are easy targets to be ripped of.....TRAVELLERS BE AWARE!!!

Rob and Indie at R&I Automotive always do an excellent job. Have taken both vehicles there over the last 3 year's since moving to the Ravenshoe area. Definitely recommend them for all jobs big or small.

Went to see rob, and pin pointed the problem, ordered part, and had it done by the next day.Thanks guys, and appreciate the fast work.We havnt travelled far, (Atherton) for a few days, and off from there and hope this issue will be in our past, and now to concentrate on our trip. Hopefully no more problems.

Rob & Indy are absolute bloody legends offering first rate service with a smile.8 First day of our camping trip we blew a radiator hose. After numerous phone calls to suppliers from Indy and multiple drive arounds from Rob they eventually found us a part that would fit and keep us going until we got home.The bill was so cheap we tried to offer tham more which they politely declined. Couldn't recommend these legends highly enough.

Awesome job done and affordable with friendly service

Booked in for 9am and was told my car would be looked at and done in 45minutets but didn’t get it back until almost three hours later. Felt like my car was getting nitpicked for things that weren’t relevant to what I went in for.

Great bloke let my Datsun on the road and fixed my oil leak which I could not find the source of for a great price. 11 out of 10
