Oaklea Hall Aged Care - MACG

Our family really love Oaklea Hall. No aged care home is perfect and it's hard to keep up with all the reforms and changes, budgets, staff changes etc within the Aged Care environment. But what we love about Oaklea Hall is the staff is always trying the best and they try to communicate to families.Yes there are changes that happen (but that happens in all aged care homes). But staff are always kind and friendly and we feel really comfortable approaching staff with our concerns if we have them. They have an open door. We've had our family member in a number of homes and this one really does communicate the best :)Keep it up! Carolyn the current manger is awesome, very friendly and approachable and she and staff keep families in the loop. Thanks Carolyn and staff :)

Unacceptable poor level of care given to higher need patients. This place has not got the staff numbers or skilled staff to care for patients who have had a stroke and need extra care. Reporting the problem to management never altered the poor service received. There are good homes our there for high care patients - this is NOT one of them.

The staff and management are lovely, very caring and excellent at engaging the residents.

My Nan lives here and she is very well looked after, we are so happy to have found such a great place for her to be so well taken care of XoX

The staff are very caring and do a great job of looking after the residents. Communication from the manager and the nurse in charge of clinical care are exceptional. Thank you to the lovely staff at Oaklea Hall.

It used to be excellent, management, changed, and it think it has declined, staff are great though, do you homework with aged care, we did, it is very important

A good place to start a new job. At the very first time I entered this place can see that staffs were accomodating and wear a smile in their face that probably makes the resident's day positively to begin with.

People are friendly, but I would not want to work here. Not enough nursing staff on during the day or staff in general on especially overnight.
