Joined this school when it first opened and have watched it blossom ever since! I struggled with reading in prep, faking my way through, Stella maris assesses this and provided extra support class! They care for their students very deeply! The open plan environment of the school helps create a community and group environment encouraging communication and team work as it’s life skills that can be used forever. As a catholic school they do focus on religion but always bring it back to society and that religion is about being a Good Samaritan, treating others kindly and doing good is society which other school don’t always focus on! From a learning and personal development standard they are a very good school

i used to go to this school, it was a pretty good school but one thing that did annoy me is that they always lied to you but i know this wasn't true, another thing that was annoying id that all they cared about was religion, i'm not saying i'm against any religion, i did all the catholic sacraments there but what i am saying is that they didn't focus ion the core subjects that young children need to learn, in year 6 i was at year 5 level but at my new school were i am in year 7 i am half way through year 8 standard.

i have just graduated from this school, i think that this is a decent school. my only two cons are that this school focuses on religion too much—, leaving education behind. it's quite expected to not do much work if you go to a catholic school. i have had to take extra tutoring to catch up on the school work that stella provides, since they don't give useful recourses. also, they teach wrong things. one main quote, motto, whatever you call it in stella is, be a positive bystander". i don't get this at all

attended this school 6 years ago, and It was by far the worst 6 years of my life. I was bullied the entire time I was there, and every time I brought this up to a teacher, one of two things would happen. they would either smile and nod and nothing would be done. or they would say they would do something on, and then nothing would happen. most of the classes I had would have people that would constantly disrupt the class, and since the teacher was holding in there anger due to this, they would often take their anger out on the quite kids (my self included). they claim that they care about there students when they clearly don't. If I had a kid, I wouldn't send them here even if you where paying me.

I was a student at this school for six years- I just graduated.Over all, I think this school is great! They follow the Victorian Curriculum, and offer further help for students behind or above it.Contradictory to what other reviewers have said, I don't think they force religion on students too much, and, on the contrary, are very open to anything you believe in. That is, at least, for me.In terms of teachers, I've had more good than bad ones, (not that the school has that many inherently bad teachers) each being able to help me find my passions, love of learning and be amazing role models!I'd be lying, though, if I didn't mention that this school is lacking a bit in learning. You learn the same topics- mostly using the same questions and/ or resources, for two years, until you move up to the next community. the tasks they give you are mostly pretty easy; I take tutoring lessons on the side so that I can be better prepared for high school.Primary schooling is a big part of a person's life- it's something that'll probably stay with them for a while. I know that this school will always have a fond place in my heart, which is why I give it 4/5 stars.
