The Chasu Ramen is prepared with precision, featuring a delightful blend of a rich and velvety broth, carefully selected noodles, and complemented by the decent toppings. I found the Chasu to be delicious, but I believed it could benefit from a bit more charring on top to further enhance its flavour and would be preferable to include nori instead of wakame. The Ajitsuke tamago, a ramen egg, was flawlessly cooked, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dish. While the portion size remained comparable to that found in Japan, considering the price, I had expected a slightly more generous serving. I also ordered the Ox tongue skewers, which offered a mix of textures. While some pieces were tender and enjoyable, I found that some of them were a bit chewier than desired.

Really nice place for high quality Japanese. The place is nicely fitted out and quiet on a Thursday night which is good for conversation. Really enjoyed the crispy soft shell crab, fresh salmon chirashi and grilled mackerel. In fact everything was fresh and delicious. The only thing is that they close pretty early - about 9pm on a weeknight. Good for early family dinners. Look forward to going back again.

Went to this place for dinner yesterday. The food was pretty good. The price is more on the expensive side borderline fine dining. Atmosphere and ambience is pretty good. The food service is quite fast and the waiters are quite helpful.We ordered a range of dishes, okonomiyaki for the appetizer, Caviar Gunkan Maki, Softshell crab Nori Taco, Chicken Katsu Teishoku, Ichiro Karaage, Panko Oysters, Aburi Salmon Nigiri, Soft shell crab Tempura and Duo large Daifuku.The large Daifuku is not that large, if I may say, out is actually normal size mochi.

Summary:Overall experience was nice however I do believe this place is overhyped as the food was nice but nothing special.The food is quite your typical Japanese izakaya menu.I reccomend Calia as a much better experience for service, atmosphere and price and is indeed cheaper than ichiro.Food talk:I ordered the unagi set meal and it was nice maybe just a bit too much sauce.Also tried their sushi platter and takoyaki. Again it was nice but nothing special.This is important as they are pricing themselves at a premium price point but I don't believe the price is justified for a nice".Portion sizes were alright for the set meal however the sushi platter and takoyaki were alright.Conclusion:I personally would not be coming back here due to the price point. Service and ambience were nice but again nothing special with the food at that price.Note:They no longer have ramen on the menu.They offer payment in cash discounts(gotta incentive paying with cash for you know ;)) surcharges on the card.Reply edit:They mentioned they don't do surcharges yetI was told by their staff I would incur a 10% surcharge fee if I paid via card.They justified their price points as not being part of the sushi court yet their standards and quality still did not justify their prices. There are other restaurants such as Calia offering a much better menu

Tonight was an absolutely delightful experience! The food was both fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Additionally, the friendly staff made our time there even more enjoyable.

Great spot for a quick lunch! The ramen was really good, perfectly seasoned and good portion. The stock was delicious. My partner has the unagi set, he found the sauce on the unagi too much (too sweet). The gyoza was the least good, definitely on the low taste side. Overall however, great value for money and we enjoyed.

I wish I had tried Ichiro earlier. They offered quality and tasty food with very reasonable price. If there is one thing I would complain, it will be the variety of sushi. I found there were not many sushi choices. Maybe I was comparing them with specialized Sushi places, where offers more kinds of sushi, which is a bit unfair. Make sure that you book a reservation with them especially during public holidays. They could get quite busy during holidays. BTW parking is 4 hrs free under basement and 1.5hr free on the ground.

Made a booking this afternoon didn’t receive any confirmation turned up for a special dinner to be told no reservation. No alternative time was offered. Made a comment that maybe they should check their website if it is working.Was rudely told by one of the staff that we should have known we didn’t have a reservation.What a shame would have loved to sampled the foodNo way would l recommend this restaurant just from the service we received at the entrance

Beautifully presented and delicious Japanese food, would love to come back and try some of their sake or umeshu, and get one of their teishoku options for a special occasion! The serving sizes seemed just right and I enjoyed the woody, warm atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly, and I enjoyed being able to order through an iPad with nice big pictures and descriptions of their offerings!
