I Attended the Bundamba store today with my sister, 12 yr old son and his 12 yr old mate. We were greeted by a friendly young lady behind the counter. She was lovely. Browsing the store we continued out to the miscellaneous section out back. My son was curious about an item and used google image to search as he does often. He was approached by a store member who rudely said to him why are you taking photos?" looking at his phone. He said I am just using google image it doesn't save the photos and he showed her. To which this rude woman grunted at him. I don't know who the hell she thought she was speaking to a child like this but she was a B#@*h. She has blown Any chance of getting donations from me nor me ever buying from there again. If she's a volunteer they should get rid of her. She's rude. If they don't want photos taken they should put signs up and after all he's just a kid. Adults want kids to show them respect and this is how they treat the kids that come into their shop."

Really disappointed after my visit today, to hear a very loud conversation between two staff members in the back of the store discussing their personal beliefs about 'theybies', gender ideology and pronouns and making some very transphobic, hurtful comments about transgender, and gender neutral & non-binary people. It may be one thing to hold certain beliefs and opinions but to voice them so loudly in public, within a business where customers can overhear..Especially coming from an organisation that displays one of their main values as 'compassion'. Was very shocked to hear such comments, so unprofessional, and very uncomfortable.

A no-frills op shop, both adult and kid's clothing, a reasonable variety of books and puzzles, some kid's games, kitchen and glassware

This place has really improved since opening with big sales like book sales and an up coming clothing sale. It's evolving as people get to know about it.All proceeds go to Veteran services.Stock is mostly mainstream with some nice vintage pieces.Biggest issue is there are no dressing rooms with a woman telling me to wrap my jeans around my neck to ensure they fit. How does that accommodate the rise or the length and fit? There are no returns, refunds and no store credit if your clothes don't fit which feels like entrapment. I put 3 items of clothing back because I couldn't afford to take the risk financially for winter clothes I needed that possibly wouldn't fit. Turns out it's against consumer rights they must offer a refund regardless of what the store policy is. It's Australian law.Secondly there is a sign that says All breakages must be paid for" this isn't the case and can't be enforced. Sometimes accidents happen. A store cannot make up their own laws outside of consumer laws. Here's another blindside for you
