Ordered the schnitzel platter for $50, was awesome the beef schnitzel was juicy and tender and the chicken schnitzel was fresh and juicy as well. Didn’t get a chance to try the pork schnitzel yet.But chips were fresh and popcorn chicken was a bit too peppery but othe r than that good as

We had a lovely evening at Angle Vale Tavern. Staff were lovely and attentive. Came and offered us takeaway containers without us needing to even ask.We ordered the Monday special schnitzel board and it didn't disappoint.My husband and son are big eaters and we still left with 3 schnitzels in our containers. We easily could come here and share that board with our 2 younger kids and all leave full.The choice of toppings were great and everything was cooked to perfection.We didn't get a full platter shot I'm afraid but here is some of it misisng a couple of beef schnitzels.

We finally managed to get here for schnitzel platter night and it did not disappoint!!!! Excellent value for money and super yummy!!!The staff were fantastic, I messed them around with my numbers a bit and they helped me sort it out easily.Would be nice to have a break out area for the kids, but that didn't take away from a great night :)

Overall the food is classic pub grub.Went for the schnitzel platter (special promo). 6 mediumish schnitzels, chips and some iteration of popcorn chicken was dished up. Surprised for the price it included all toppings and a choice of protein, truly customisable.The serving sizes are quite generous across all dishes. The staff were polite and friendly.You're not going to find gourmet food here but you will get value for money and a good feed, and that's how I approached this review. Good price for a decent feed and a few bevvies. Good job.

*NOTE, THIS REFLECTS THE FOOD ONLY*OK, to be clear this rating is only a reflection of the food. For the brief interaction via telephone and ordering, the staff were friendly and helpful.This is a tavern. This is not a place for dinner and conversation. It's loud and rowdy and a place to socialise. None of these things are bad but if you're expecting to sit down and have a nice dinner..... well no.Now onto the food. Presentation was reasonable, everything looked good but I tell you what, never in my years have I eaten ribs so bland, tasteless and utterly without any joy. If depression had a flavour, it would be these ribs. They were seasoned with nothing but the air around them. The sauce was bland and tasted exactly like the colour brown. Not a nice, earthy brown but the kind of brown you'd see in a home built in Sydney suburbs in the 70's. The wings were pretty much the same. They tasted like the chickens had been fed entirely on the tears of orphans. I ate one and chose a different path. The onion rings were quite good though. The salt & pepper chicken was reasonable but what I THINK was calamari was more like what you'd get if Deb potatoes came in Seafood form. Waffle fries were ok, you'd have to work pretty hard to mess them up. Bread was pretty good, actually.Overall, pretty disappointing after being recommended to this place by some co-workers. Explains why I have trust issues. Great place to have a drink for sure and I'll visit again (assuming I'm not banned after this) but probably not for a meal.2.0 stars for the food.4.5 for the venue and staff.

The schnitzel platter was absolutely phenomenal! So much value for your buck and it was absolutely delicious! Within 5-10 minutes of ordering it was already on our table. The staff are welcoming, helpful and just wonderful! We were seated outside and the staff made sure that the heater was on and it was comfortable. Definitely has become one of our go to places. A hidden gem if you will.

Ordered a platter and it was fantastic. Staff were awesome and went out of their way to make us feel welcome even though they were very busy with quiz night. I would say best pub dining experience offered within the Two Wells, Virginia and Angle Vale triangle. Well done, will be back again for sure, worth the drive.

My partner and I went for a Schnitzel Platter and Oh My Goodness it did not disappoint. I made a last minute booking, and the girls were so accommodating and friendly, but I can not stop talking about the food. Not only was it amazing quality, but the amount was so generous, especially for the price.I think I have just found my new favourite place, I will definitely be going back!!!

Went there with the family, great atmosphere! Simple easy pub food and the price was easy to do.Great place for casual lunch outing! Will come back for sure.
