Cadell Camping and Recreation Ground

If I am honest camping is not my favorite type of holiday however our time spent at Cadell Camping and Recreation Ground has changed my mind. We were lucky enough to spend Easter there and it was a wonderful holiday, Gary has worked very hard to make little garden beds around the park which we were able to utilise for my granddaughter and great nieces Easter Egg Hunt. Gary is a lovely bloke who is always happy to help in anyway, we will be back again.

Wonderful, quiet place to spend a few nights, awesome hot showers. Doggo's loved off leash oval just metres from the van plus a couple of nice walk area's. Caretaker Garry is warm and welcoming.Definitely worth stopping here ☺

So impresses with this place. Super clean amenities and Kathy is lovely to deal with. Highly recommend this place.

A paid camping area for 10 - 12 vehicles adjacent to the Cadell oval with shaded and flat gravel/dirt sites some with power and mains water. Good facilities on-siteTime and Cost: Paid camp. $20 p/n power and water, $15 p/n unpowered.Access: Turn off Goyder Hwy and take Murray River ferry to Cadell. Short dirt road to camp area.Facilities: flat gravel/dirt mostly shaded sites some with power and water. Toilet block, dump point, showers, bins and laundry with washing machine ($3 per wash).Ambiance: quiet and serene with little road noise. Individual fires not allowed.Good location for facilities at a discount price. Not particularly attractive but some walks to Murray River.

Had a great time. Very clean and welcoming. Great camp kitchen. People very friendly. Water and power if you get there early. 7 powered sites and lots of no power. Beautiful scenery very relaxing.

Fantastic little gem! Super clean, free bbq, has fridge you can use, tidy showers/toilets. Very friendly and helpful caretaker also, will definately be back!
