Absolutely recommend Troy. His work is excellent and very reasonably priced. We had 8 dining chairs recovered and over the moon with result. We will definitely be back to get more work done and are very happy with the service.

I found Troy Lester Chairs via a Google search when my elderly Mum was advised to buy a new lift chair by her occupational therapist (OT). We visited Troy at his showroom and arranged for a new lift chair to be made. Troy's wife, Monica, liaised with the OT to ensure the chair was custom made to the OT's specifications. Following ordering of the chair, my Mum was admitted to residential aged care closer to where I live. Troy delivered the chair to my Mum at the aged care residence for a reasonable fee (he drove around 400 km return to deliver it). Unfortunately, Mum only had use of the chair for seven weeks as she had to be admitted to hospital where she passed away three weeks later.Following my Mum's passing, I contacted Troy and Monica to see whether they would be prepared to take the chair back to their showroom to sell on consignment with a commission payable to them. They agreed to do so and came to my home to pickup the chair. They did so after delivering a chair to another customer in my vicinity. I paid Troy and Monica a small amount to take the chair back to the showroom to cover fuel costs.Some six weeks later Monica advised me that they had sold the chair and would pay me the sum I was looking for after deducting their commission. Right through the whole process of purchasing and then selling the chair I was totally satisfied with their service. The chair was of a high quality. I highly recommend them if you need to purchase a lift chair.

Very poor after sales support and service. When the motor on my grandads lift chair faulted all he wanted to do was palm me off to his supplier who were also not interested. Waste of $1800 :(

I'm absolutely delighted to have met Troy who helped me with the seat selection for my grandmother with far greater support, enthusiasm and expertise than I received at a larger chain store I visited
