I have had many meals at The Sands and I usually enjoy it very much, but tonight’s experience was very disappointing. The mashed potatoes appeared to be a few days old because there was a sour flavour and had an odd looking colour but it was not the only issue. It was poorly made, very lumpy and badly presented. I was very disappointed to pay $34 for such an unsatisfactory meal especially when my previous experiences at the Sands have been so positive. I hope this was a one off.

About 2 weeks ago after Sunday beach walking, we visited The Sands for early dinner. we was so lucky to find here because normally there aren't many cafes are open until late on Sundays in the beach area, but The Sands is open until 12:00 and offers proper food menu and drinks, so it's great. The location is also easy to find. The atmosphere was spacious and relaxed.We ordered Narrabeen burger and Crispy pork belly which tastes are delicious. The chef seemed to know how to cook the meat and it was tender and juicy. I will definitely come back.

I have been dining a lot at the sands because I live local. I brought my friends from different parts of Sydney every time they visit northern beaches. Staff are really helpful. Today I came with my pastor and I have to say the steak was perfectly cooked (medium) with pepper sauce. I used to be a chef so I know I have to give credit to the lady in the kitchen - Cathy! It was a reasonable wait but I have to commend the service and the food is a top notch. Shame I wasn’t able to take a photo and I got to excited to finish my steak! Thank you and I will keep bringing my friends with me at The Sands! 5 ⭐️

I came here to hangout with family and friends. It’s a nice pub. It’s clean. Theres lots of seating area. Staff is ok. I didn’t get to deal with them a lot because I was only out there for drinks. I ordered a few cocktail drinks, nothing special. Overall, it was nice hanging out there.

Great, trusty pub. The staff were awesome, and the food was bloody great! Oh, and the location is sweet right across from the beach.

Good food at a reasonable price. A solid selection of standard pub food. The venue is clean and comfortable and the service is pretty good. Would recommend you check it out!
