Really disappointed with the unprofessional attitude of the practice nurse, Julie, who has the nerve to question whether I really needed the medications I was asking for, as I was just discharged from hospital with only 10 days worth of medications. My doctor said just call and ask for scripts, as knew I was in hospital, with limited supply of medications. However he left no notes on my file of the conversation I had with him which left me at the mercy of the receptionist who treated me like some sort of drug seeker. I'm looking for another GP

My daughter attended for her 6 month check up and immunisations.... as follows.Firstly, the Doctor did not do ANYTHING in the appointment. An appointment hat lasted less the 5 minutes, he asked if my baby had been well, did not look at her ‘red book’, he did not take her temperature, ask about solids or teething, her height or weight, he did not ask if she was reaching milestones, she never left her pram and I was incredibly disappointed when he started talking about vaccinations, as I am a very experienced GP/immunisation nurse, and considering we have never been to your practice before he did not ask for any of her history. He very obviously no idea which vaccinations she was getting (a point my non-medical trained partner picked up on also) and he told us about “the flu vaccine’ she was getting – She was not getting the flu vaccine, just her regular scheduled 6 month immunisations, which influenza is not part of. This vaccine was never mentioned, so I’m unsure why he even brought it up.We have just moved to Woodford, and I am aware of the vaccination issues in this town, with families choosing not to vaccinate, sadly I can understand the skepticism when they are receiving no information/wrong information from their doctors – the people who should know what they are talking about.I will not be returning to Woodford Doctors, and I will be passing my bad experience and disappointment onto local mothers at the Woodford Mothers Group as well as at other family events. As I have mentioned, lucky I am a GP/immunisation nurse and I know nothing is wrong with my daughters development, but if you care for you child and their development I WOULD NOT attend this DR under any circumstances.

Disgusting service from all staff. Time and time again being told nothing available and there is no way to have a repeat script provided for an urgent medication. No review required for this script however staff refused to assist in the worst manner.

I have lived in the local are for 8 years. I presented with severe coughing, temperature and pain. This went on for weeks. I continued to ask for treatment and they continued to treat me for bronchitis. I eventually broke a rib due to coughing and was in extensive pain! I attended my GP again explaining my symptoms and agony. She said it was likely a muscle strain! After weeks of pain and fever I asked for a whooping cough test! Positive! They prescribed the antibiotic however I was too far gone and ended up hospitalised with pneumonia and pleurisy in right lung plus advised my left rib was broken from coughing. My GP did no investigation, it was left up to me to diagnose myself. The pain I experienced was excruciating.... the local anti -vaccers are dangerous to the community as is the Doctors who support them. Whooping cough is now rife in the community and it is usually the innocents who suffer. Remember to get your booster every 10 years, if not you may end up contracting the deadly disease if you live in this community.

Dr Leticia Figueiredo has been very helpful and caring with all my needs and the needs of my baby. I was a patient of the Woodford Family Medical Centre but found very little care or compassion and was always quickly dismissed and hurried out the door. When i switched to Woodford Doctors i was incredibly impressed with the time Dr Leticia would take to properly understand our circumstances and even our emotional needs. She takes the time to properly look over my baby boy to make sure she doesn't miss anything. Couldn't recommend her more!

Generally ok experiences here however just wasted a morning this time and like everyone its a negative unproductive experience that prompts comment.I waited 3 weeks for an appointment for an annual checkup. I was told I would not need the time I requested to be booked. I did. I had my appointment consequently cut short of what was appropriate for a thorough review.Blood tests are part of a general health check and I was not advised that it would be more efficient to have these done first and then time the appointment so these could be reviewed at the same time.So I have had to wait 3 weeks and drive quite a way to get to the first appointment. Now I have to drive back again for blood tests and then wait again for when an appointment might be available again to review these results and time will be wasted recapping the previous appointment.A frustratingly inefficient and unproductive process and the pressing issues were not addressed. Unsatisfactory.I feel worse than before the appointment. That’s just not healthcare.I’ll give it a miss.
