Convenient location, great sale but the cashier should pay more attention to the customer. Payment did not go through properly as she was rushing for the pin to be entered when the screen has not registered the price. So instead of quick transaction we had to wait.

What could have been a 5 minute transaction ended up turning into over 30min minutes of wasting my time and other customers time who were waiting in the queue after usOriginally I had purchased a washing machine on the 27th of September which they overcharged us $10 and let us know via phone call which we appreciated. Instead of the refund we had said to use that as a credit note for next purchase so we can continue the business. Comparing the receipt on the system not matching the amount to our credit card statement wasn’t enough for the rude staff member Dione (name on receipt not sure who actually served us) had given us the worst customer service, clearly didn’t want to assist us - who made us sit there and wait as if we were lying definitely wasn’t an expectation how of Bing Lee treats their customersTo explain in detail what happened she had- Looking at us like we’re trying to scam them over a credit note rolling her eyes giving dirty looks while making us sit there while the lady over the counter had to manually find the eftpos receipt of what was charged as my credit card statement wasn’t enough. Giving horrible customer service to us because we were after a low ticket item but when her friends walk in giving them a total different experience- Being dismissive during the whole sale saying it’s a new system (not sure if true or not) before even looking up my details of the last transaction. Saying she doesn’t have my details in system and quote “well where is it then” while rolling her eyes pointing at the screen aggressively so I had to manually find myself on her computer which I found. I understand she may not be that tech savvy so I had helped her type and also find the product myself on the system on top of finding my details of the last transaction. I was very patient and tried to help her but she was very rude saying I’m not in there when I found it very easily. I even suggested if she’s not able to help me can I get someone else that knows so I don’t waste anymore of her time as she clearly doesn’t want to give me the time of dayTrying to simply claim a credit note ended up being degrading enough making us sit there and wait as if we were lying. Out of principal we stayed to show we weren’t lying and not trying to get a discount. As your manager of 4 months on duty had said “it’s only $10” in any other case we would have walked away and said don’t worry about it but making us sit there while she made the other lady search through every single piece of eftpos paper was very frustratingIt was a mistake on their end for the overcharge in the first place not ours, this wouldn’t have even happened if it was charged correctly and for them to take so long and give horrible customer service. After that long process they finally found it and realised they were wrong but after it had been escalated and he had to step inWe’ve been shopping at Bing Lee for over 40 years now and are very understanding customers, the first transaction of our washing machine was done in a matter of 15 minutes for a bigger ticket item purchase of $1627. We’re very mindful of not taking up the sales attendant time as they could be attending to other customers while we decide and shop around, we always know exactly what we want to buy then leave.With online channels beating your pricing with no shop front and overheads of retail staff I wonder why this is the reason you’re losing customers and the shopping trends are all turning to online. I’m very disappointed and appalled by how we were treated and would like to escalate this as we’re sure this is not the standard and expectation you would like Bing Lee to set.

The female staff there spend time on make up and sticking eye lashes more than business ethics and customer service.Spoke to 2 of them about a product but it was obvious they don’t want to talk to customers as they wanted to chit chat over the phone with friends.I left very upset, and immediately bought the product from another provider (not Bing lee) of course.

I purchased a brand new Samsung washing machine that since purchasing has had ongoing issues. More recently the machine has completely stopped working and has repair issues beyond believable. Basically Bing Lee sold me either a used or faulty machine and as usual taking absolutely NO responsibility to address the issue.
