Really bad experience. By phone I made a reservation for 3 people and three beds. They told me AUD 165 in total by phone but the guy booked two apartments, no bedrooms. They were saying bedrooms when they rent apartments. when we arrived the price had changed. He told me it was 330 for the two bedrooms and it was two apartments. But after just paying we realized it was a mistake and they didn't want to make us the refund.Furthermore, the apartment smells as old and need a really clean up!

This was a trip down memory lane- we stayed here 20 years ago. I dont think much has been updated since then. We ended up sleeping in the single beds because the queen bed wasn’t at all comfortable. Great location.

The whole complex seemed to be run down. The grounds were untidy with long grass everywhere and grass growing out of the gutters. The rooms we had were very run down with old furnishings and furniture and original bathroom and kitchen. It would be great if we could at least say the bed was comfortable but it was the hardest bed we had on our whole two week trip away. As a positive it is centrally located and so an easy walk into town etc.

This is a review of my opinion of the room I stayed in (Room 9), as other rooms might might have a different experienceCheck in was ok, no problems and staff member was nice. Also warned that wifi might not be stable.Room was clean and has that old australian motel small to it. Which was nice in its own way.Couldn't connect to internet at all, tired multiple times with multiple devices.Bathroom showered leaked, so had to put towels on the floor.There's a sign that mentions no room cleaning service and please clean up after yourself. Which was easy enough.Great location, right behind and walking distance (2 minute walk) from the main shop areas in Halls Gap

My stay wasn't a particularly positive one. The photos are very dated. There is no green grass, but weeds growing in the guttering. Fly screens dumped in garden beds. The ceiling fan had exposed wiring, bathroom exhaust fan barely worked, didn't do the job, and the hair dryer caught on fire! Owner said it would be fixed but it never happened. The room I stayed in for 4 days wasn't serviced even once. Nor was it clean to begin with. Even the freezer was full of ice build up. The location and The pool was the only half reasonable space. Poor pot plants were on deaths door. Overall would not recommend anyone stay there. Very disappointing for the money. If I could rate half a star I would

I'm on the train now as I type my review. Completely traumatized by staying here for 10 days. Filthy shambles. I arrived with my brother and the manager ask what were doing. Duh having a holiday pre-booked. Our room was outdated and stunk like vomicated stew. It was cold so turned to the AC on for heating. ASTHMA SUFFERERS BEWARE !!!!. The heating is filthy and filteration system is full of bacterial agents. I had severe asthma attacks throughout My stay even when we turned it off. We were cold without heating. Mold and grime. Dust mites. Fleas and bed bugs. Little spider's. Why the heck is this place still allowed to stay home. 3x I nearly stopped breathing. I knew medical attention was 20 minutes away at Stawell hospital. I was so scared. And to the manager you are greedy. I could have died but I didn't. We will come back again in September but somewhere more healthy. My advice to anyone staying here don't go Here. I did like the animals. But I'm going home with terrified memories of another Bates motel.

Fairly good accommodation, rooms are old fashioned which isn't a massive issue. The location is a 10/10 with a minute walk from the door of your room to the main street of Halls Gap. There are offered discounts for a restaurant nearby which is good as well. The indoor pool is fairly busy and small but is nicely heated to suit the cooler temperatures.

Older style, but large rooms, comfortable bedding etc, clean & tidy rooms, centrally located right in midst of shops etc. Paths & driveways are all gravel & were pretty muddy & puddles which you had to walk through from car to room. Always kangaroos around, reasonably priced.

Went to check-in with our confirmation of booking with correct dates to be told our booking was last week and we were a no show!! Apparently Pinnacle's online booking system and office system don't talk to each other. Had to stand my ground to get accommodation, got charged extra for shabby room. Very expensive for cheap low service accommodation. Don't bother with them.

Room was cozy, great spot only a 50metre walk onto the main street, couldnt get wifi however not a major issue, no cooking utilities in room so be prepared to eat out. :)
