Terrible service. They don’t care about their customers at all

I have used this business on several occasions over two years. Work quality is excellent. However, I am sorry to say that the owner appears to have tickets on himself these days and customer service is not in his vocabulary. I tried to discuss an account that I thought was too high and was roundly abused by Rowan, who then proceeded to hound me by rude emails and phone calls for the account to be paid 'Immediately'. So, advice is, get detailed quotes and get competitive quotes. They may be good but there are plenty of qualified electricians and A/C experts out there.

John is so personable and professional, he always gives 110% to sometimes impossible jobs. I have used RJ Electrical for Air Conditioning and Electrical for many years. Very pleased with the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Absolutely atrocious service and so was the customer service after the fact. Rowan cares only about money, customer care isn’t on his radar. He has an extremely arrogant attitude and is horrible to deal with. He takes no accountability whatsoever for problems with their service. I have never received such bad service from a business before.The technician they sent out to look at our ducted heating (our cooling was working fine) diagnosed that our heating could not be fixed due to an irreparable issue with the power board. We were told we could have one or the other, cooling or heating but not both. They said we couldn’t get a new powerboard because our system was old and the part was no longer available so their suggestion was that we look at getting a whole new system. We trusted their diagnosis and accepted we would just have cooling and we spent $800 getting a gas bayonet installed for the winter because we couldn’t afford a new system.Fast forward a few months and it starts getting hot. I go to turn the ducted cooling on and the system is completely dead. I call RJ electrical to explain that our cooling wasn’t working and it was working prior to their visit so could they please come out to look at it. Rowan was extremely arrogant and unhelpful. I was told they could come out but that it would be chargeable work. We then got another company out to look at our system and not only were they able to fix our system so that the cooling worked again, but they also fixed the heating! He explained why the system was completely dead, that a wire had been put in the wrong place. Proving that it was the fault of RJ electrical. So they wrongly diagnosed our heating, telling us it couldn’t fixed and trying to screw us out of $10 - $12k by suggesting we needed a new system when it was perfectly fixable and there was nothing wrong with the powerboard. As well as that, they stuffed our cooling which had been working fine and refused to accept responsibility even after I had told them about the other company who had fixed it.It’s hard to believe that a business in this climate would operate with such a warped moral compass. I strongly suggest avoiding them at all costs!
