Lite n' Easy

Have just prepared your Chicken Fettuccine with broccolini which was uneatable the Chicken was not cooked properly & very dry the pasta also was not cooked it went into the rubbish this is the 2nd time I have notified you about the chicken & pasta. Hopefully you take note this time NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Do not recommend. Inflexible when it comes to you choosing your meals due to food intolerances. Did not have in stock 2 out of 3 choices even ordering from current Autumn menu!

Can barely stomach this food now. I used to do Light n'' Easy 10 years ago, but feel like the food is pretty much as it was then - possibly worse.And given that there are now a dozen or so ready to eat meal brands on the market, with much MUCH nicer food, with much higher quality ingredients. All of the Light n' Easy foods have a fake, chemically taste to them.I think it's high time Light n' Easy upgraded their catalogue. I can still get the exact same frozen meals I could over 10+ years ago...

I was going to enjoy my dinner, a MyChoice Chicken and Cashew meal from Lite N Easy however on the label it said Caution: May contain pieces of bone. Firstly this was not highlighted well enough for elderly people with poor eye sight. Thankfully my son warned me about the caution. It kind of put me off my food as I had to carefully chew every mouthful worried that I may accidentally swallow a piece of bone. Totally disappointed. This is why my son chooses Youfoodz instead.

Although only 3 star, I highly recommend, just my rating putting everything into perspective.My wife and I have lost nearly 35 kilos combined in under 6 months and the health benefits have been huge. And that is during winter!The food overall is great, tasty, plenty of options and there may be that odd dish you don't like, but you learn not to order that one again.Super convenient, you don't have to think about what's for lunch or dinner, super easy!I am not vegetarian but order about 40% of my dinner meals vegetarian as they are so good! Plus no cleaning the kitchen after cooking!Down sides. We feel there is a lot of packaging, one lunch meal can have a sauce container, a bread package, a salad package, a meat package, plus the bags they come in (one fresh, one frozen) plus the bread ties. Then the snacks have their own packaging etc.Also, some dinner meals are excessively watery once cooked, but my biggest gripe is with the chicken soups, about every 3rd soup has a piece of bone/gristle in it, I actually find that poor on the quality control side of things.

Compared to other meal providers Lite n Easy is one of the best.They provide assorted meal sizes to cater for most.Their meals certainly are not boring. Well balanced with a bit of everything from the food pyramid each day.Many Gourmet style meals in their menu. Lotsa to choose from.Fresh and prime ingredients.All fatty bits are neatly trimmed from their meat with care.Both frozen and refrigerated meals available. Also various fruits.The only problem I found was that some meals expected you to do some preparation or cooking, such as cooking eggs, toast, etc…

We were very excited to start Lite n' Easy. At first, we really enjoyed the variety of meals (which we wouldn't have cooked). Then, despite the large array of choices, they quickly became boring. But worse, my bad cholesterol increased during this time and my digestion was horrible (I won't go into any details). I've since stopped and my cholesterol has gone back down again and my digestive track is all happy again too. Hubby lost weight, but I didn't. Also, too much plastic. They should use compostable plastic. Too bad, the concept was wonderful.

5 stars for the food, the food is great.BUT 1 star for delivery, delivery cannot be tracked. Causes so much anxiety as I have no clue what time it will come each week. The delivery drivers also dumps it outside my apartment so it can be stolen as i live on the main road. No i did not get the text, No they do not follow instructions to buzz and leave inside foyer. Tracking is highly recommended.Ability to track my delivery would give you 5 stars.

I first tried Lite&Easy in 2021 and had loved the vegetarian dinner options.. they were not many but definitely the right qty & delicious. Now after a long break, I tried it again and am highly disappointed. The taste just doesnt make sense anymore..its like sauces mixed together disproportionately. Not ordering again.
