I hit a pothole and reported it the same day. Lucky I had three police officers come and pick me up and drop me home as the car rim was damaged also. I did all the right things took photos got repairs done and rang the council to report the matter in full. Now they have delayed my attempts for compensation. They refuse to write back to emails giving excuses such as our insurance people are not back at work yet etc. This is very poor showing as there was no way to avoid this pot-hole as there were two. Not impressed seeking legal advice as the repair cost to my car was substantial.
