Greenbushes Discovery Centre
Lovely Centre with knowledgeable volunteers- speaking with them was one of the highlights of the day. Although the Centre is smaller than what you might find in a larger city, the displays are interactive and very informative. Walk through the forest, learn about logging, “drive” a truck; descend into a mine and operate machinery. A must when visiting Greenbushes! Heritage park is just across the street. A nice day outing.

A great discovery centre - we spent two hours there and didn't see everything- great for children as well. A big variety from history, to mining, to timber, and nature etc

Greenbushes Discovery Centre
We really enjoyed this, even though it’s a bit old school it’s very engaging. Loved all the interactives, the mock mine tunnel was a thrill and the forest section was very hands on. Took my 3 year old, he loved it.

Didn't see any wildlife but heard lots of frogs so must be thriving! Well maintained. Will be back for another look when it's not so wet.

Greenbushes Discovery Centre
Greenbushers free camp at the pool, a great spot to camp for a couple of days. Lovely play ground for kid's and a little beach. Shame the Bridgetown shire didn't clean the toilets more often.

Greenbushes Discovery Centre
This place has very limited opening hours, so we made a special trip to go on a day they advertised they would be open. We waited by locked doors until 30 min after opening time before giving up. Very disappointed that they can't keep to their advertised hours.

Greenbushes Discovery Centre
Well worth a visit to better understand the long history of timber growing & milling and rare earths mining since early 1800's. Kids would enjoy many interactive electronic displays. Nice volunteer staff.
