Victor Dry Cleaners

Dropped a dress in to be dry cleaned two days prior to an important event. There was a problem with the cleaning process but nothing too drastic and not a problem that couldn't be fixed. Shirley (proprietor), the most vivacious woman I have ever met, was amazing and worked after hours and extremely hard to make my dress right. She did an amazing job, thank you Shirley and daughter, you are both amazing people! Pat those doggies for us :)

I was just refused service because I left an unfavourable review a previous time I tried to use the Dry Cleaners alteration service. On that day I took in my son with his jacket to be altered. The lady told us to come back the next day as her daughter will be able to do the measurements. When we went back the next day I was told that sewing lady had quit the night before and they are not able to help me. We took out the pins that was put in the jacket and yes, there were holes which we were able to get out with some rubbing and pulling. I was not told that the sewing lady is going to some personal hardship nor that her contact has been renegotiated. I was told that I am insensitive to the situation, which I was not even aware of and made to feel very unwelcome. I will never recommend their services to anyone and if I could give 0 stars, I would have.

I took one item in for cleaning and one item for a small repair. When I went back to pick the items up I was stunned to see that the original price had been crossed out and subsequently increased!! The attendant said that it had been changed by the owner! Never will I take anything back there!To reply to the owner - I don't believe you were there when I picked up my belongings. I also note you don't deny the price rise? Also, as you mention I have reviewed numerous business. All of which I stand by.

I have been using Victor Dry cleaners for close to 20 years .The mother and daughter team have always been very professional and fastidious .Their repairs and alterations are always perfect ,as is the dry cleaning work .I can highly recommend this business and hope they enjoy the success they richly deserve .Keep up the good work ……thank you for your efforts ,that go above and beyond ……a great local business!

I used to come here often.Have a good chat with Shelley. Sadly on last few visits I realised anything you discuss with Shelley isn’t confidential.Smiles to your face , then stabs you when your not looking while still smiling.I now travel to Norwood happily for dry cleaning services and alterations.I should mention the last time I was in the shop Shelley was hyper and displayed unbalanced behaviour stating she wanted to harm members of the community if she could.Just letting others know not to discuss anything.

Friendly people but when I picked up my brand new $800 blazer it was like it had been cooked in the process! First clean too. It was no longer beautifully navy rich and dark, it had a dry orange tinge and I was devastated!! Reminded by it every time I see it. Won’t go there again or recommend to others, sorry!!

Took my jacket for some alterations and left it over night only to come back to find out the seamstress quit over night and they used blunt pins that left holes in the jacket

Very good dry cleaners in Victor. Staff are very pleasant.
