Hays - Recruitment Agency Gold Coast

Peta Mason-Bradley from Hays sent through an email and rang me with a job offer. She was very polite and helpful, explained in detail what the requirements for and tried to work out if I was suitable for the job. I followed up a couple of times for some extra information and she gladly assisted me, answering all of my questions. A quality employee, Hays should be proud.

I've had an appointment with Hays 5 weeks ago. Went through all the assignments and paperwork. Even tho I'd applied for jobs that I was qualified for, I've never heard anything from them. In my opinion its just a waste of time. Been working for a recruitment agency in the last 2 years and they've found me a job super fast and also took care of their clients.Go out and try to find a job by your own.

If you really want a job and have a realistic mindset towards it, they’re going to give you all the help they can. Sophie was absolutely fantastic, had lots of opportunities to present me while I was seeing what’s out there.

Unprofessional and lacks knowledge about the services they provide. The Gold Coast office needs basic customer service skills training, they made me feel very uncomfortable. I do not recommend them at all. AWX does a better job.

I am 50 years of age and it’s my 1st time using a recruitment Agency. Since the first phone call to the Gold Coast branch, I have had so much help from anyone that I’ve spoken to. I was so confused setting up everything on the computer and I was lead through step-by-step and wasn’t made to feel a fool … just the opposite… I first spoke to Chloe and Sarah and they set me up and found me a job quickly… This wasn’t suited for me after 2 weeks and so she found me another job for next day. I have nothing but praise for anyone that I have come across (especially with all my questions) my phone calls and questions are always promptly answered….I recommend anyone to use this company as they will work Hard for you. From my very first telephone call with Hays, I have had nothing but great help from their office. The Lady that I dealt with was very professional in her approach to assist me with my placement. She kept me updated throughout the process and checked in to see how I was going in my placement. I would recommend Hays to anyone who is looking for either a full time job or a casual position.

I joined Hays in the Gold Coast over 4 months ago I have never had anyone call me or put me forward for any jobs in that time, even though I applied for ones I knew I was qualified for. I wouldn't waste my time on them, better to just get out there and find your own! Hays has a way of making you feel worthless if you are really trying to land a position. Don't bother, they are hopeless and will never call you back! I ended up going with Staff Australia...much better agency, and I now have a permanent job thanks to them!!

Clearly no Manager on duty here. The service is absolutely shocking. If You’re looking for labour hire please consider your options. I had all the right tickets and experience and these peanuts put me through plenty to get on board but showed me nothing. If you have issues with Hays labourers it’s most likely the poor staff recruitment officers. Its like they turn up from 9 to 5 and get the weekly wage ,unlike us tradies, oh they forgot to place tradies to job sites.Hate to have them running my Team.Ive found placement no thanks to Hays.
