The worst serviced NSW in Illawarra. The staff are not helpful at all. All I needed a was some info on how to apply for my driver licence and they made no effort in helping me. I seriously recommend going to warrawong or corimal.

Staff at Service NSW Wollongong have been incredibly helpful and caring on two occasions. Chevy is an asset to the organisation and is such an understanding, patient and caring individual who assisted in the difficult transfer of licence registration after someone had passed away and genuinely was invested to find an outcome and provide clear information and instructions on the steps required to achieve the outcome.

The service there is always smooth , you need not struggle about anything , you just got to tell them what you are up to and they will explain everything and help you out whatever the matter is . I would prefer to go there in person and have it done there its much easier and quick than do it by myself at home.

Staffs don't know the process or they are simply incompetent and very unhelpful!!!! I went to the Service early this year to have my name changed to my married name with complete documentation as per the process. The staff didn't follow the married name as shown on my passport. Received my learner's license with a different name as for the rest of my ID's. I went back to have it changed, the guy staff told me to change it when I'll get my red P license. Came back to have my WWC renewed since I need it for work, they hold off the renewal because my learner's license ID doesn't match with the rest of my ID's. Obviously it was their fault! I've waited for 45mins to an hour standing at the counter while the girl staff in counter 4 last 23rd of May (I should have taken her name!) was asking me digital copies of my marriage cert and passport, i hurriedly searched for what she asked me having a screaming baby with hubby in the car, however, not contented she ended up asking me to go home and get the original copies. She should have asked them directly! and she should have consulted her manager if she doesn't know the process. so frustrating! came back with documents, this time they asked me to process a change of name certificate (nobody explained the waiting period and fee). I Paid $195 because of their negligence, have to wait for 5weeks for the certificate before I can renew my WWC which I urgently need at work. Confirmed the process from main NSW service office, it was only should be a correction of name, no longer change of name, with marriage certificate and passport to present at the counter. That's all! So infuriating!! Spent 4 hours, dizzy and shaking having no lunch with my 5 month old baby. They are merciless!!! People like her should not be working at the service because she is not helpful!! What a shame.

Completely incompetent. My daughter attended yesterday for a learner knowledge test which was booked in last month. They said they called me to say the tests are cancelled because of the lockdown. Well I got no call and they then said it is on the website and I should have looked. No apology and blamed me like I was trying to sneak in the test. At the time of booking they were taking bookings! They are so rude. They said they will call me when tests are open again. I doubt I will get a call! I think they need to change their name to just NSW because there is no service here!

The competency and service levels need to be means tested to cause the staff are just hopeless. This is one service that should be outsourced.

Very good service and very informative staff.Had upgraded my NSW license to a full license using my overseas license with Zero issues onsite. Very happy with the staff’s information and helpfulness. Never had any issues at Service NSW Wollongong

Amazing Helpful Service.Felt so comfortable and looked after, highly recommend coming in for even a small task they are very quick and helpful.Chevy looked after us and he was very quick and helpful, sorted out an unusual amount of work in minutes, highly recommend his professional and friendly advice and care.
