I absolutely LOVE this place, I have had many pieces of jewellery repaired over the years and the quality of the repairs have been outstanding! I got my wedding band made to match in with my engagement ring and it is just perfect! It was obvious that so much care went into making it for me and I cant wait to get my eternity ring (one day) made from here too.The staff are always so friendly and lovely and happy to assist always with a smile on their faces!

Wearing jewellery not only makes me feel great but more importantly it often helps connect me with my memories and loved ones. Trusting someone to repair an irreplaceable piece of jewellery is a big deal. I recently inherited a beautiful ring from my Mum. It was a special gift to her from my darling dad who passed away only several years after he gave it to her and my Mum had continued to wear it every day for the last 20 odd years of her life. The ring had a diamond missing and needed some repairs and, based on past experiences, I didn’t hesitate to head to Love of Gold. I know that Tony & Janet understand that the true value of jewellery can be much more than just the $ value and their professional advice and genuine care were invaluable in helping me make decisions to ensure the best outcome. Waiting to see the finished results is the hard part but I tried hard to be patient knowing that quality work takes time and the end result would be well worth it. Today I collected my ring and can’t quite believe just how beautiful it looks. Wow! Thank you Tony, Janet and your team for giving me back this precious symbol of my parents love. Memories are priceless and my ring is absolutely stunning. Thank you for understanding what the ring means to me and for making me feel safe and secure in the knowledge that I can now enjoy wearing it every day, just as my darling mum did. Feeling blessed.

After sharing my own sketches of what I would like my engagement ring to look like, it was hand crafted to perfection. The only tweaks to the design were made for structural reasons and did not detract from my design at all as the change was so minimal! They worked with me every step of the way and let me check in to see the progress which was fantastic! I have continued to shop here since and have always received the same high standard of service. I would highly recommend them!

I went to them, to get some earrings turned into a ring. I thought it would be an almost impossible task. They managed to do it at great price and my ring looks absolutely stunning. So thank you to Tony and the amazing team there.

I took a fine gold necklace here for a repair and repair was done to a very poor standard. The necklace now has a lump where it was repaired and the clasp was also bent in the process and I could not put the pendant back on. I had to return to the shop and ask they bend the clasp back into shape. I have had it repaired elsewhere twice and their repairs are not at all visible, in fact they couldn’t believe the poor job that was done at For the Love of Gold.

I recently took my engagement ring in to be resized and to have more gold added to the band. I also took it again for a valuation following the work that was done.The service could not have been more prompt, friendly, or fairly priced. Tony is an outstanding example of great customer service. He endeavours to look after his customers with integrity and their best interests in mind. I will be conducting all future business with For the Love of Gold.
