Beautiful spot.. can get A bit busy at times.. If more then 10 cars it may get a bit difficult to swim with everyone having child kayaks ... Good things are toilets, shade and can take dog on leash.

So close to town, family friendly and nice and cool on a stinky day. Old style wood fire BBQ'S and concrete picnic facilities. Toilets also out front and a big field adjacent for those who want to kick a ball around before cooling down in the lush cool water. It's deeper under the bridge but most places are shallow for the kids. There are sealed pathways that make it easy to enjoy a leisurely stroll of a quick swim is not on your agenda. But if cooling down on a hot day minus the sand and crowds sounds like a plan this could be just right for you.

Great little swim/chill spot. Has large rocks that you can jump of into deepish water. Also a bridge that you can jump off. Gets busy during summer but winter is empty and isn't that cold. Great fishing spots down past the bridge.

Great place to jog but the water area is not that clean during rainy days. The parking area is not so obvious.

Nice place to cool off. A few deeper spots around but over not too deep or alot of flow so great for the littler kids and the big ones as well.

Always a great place to take the kids for a splash in the river. Safe shallows but also deep enough to jump off the rock. Toilet block just up the path and drinking water on tap. Easy parking or walk / bike in from Redlynch Valley estate.

The Rocks Reserve
Great place for kids to have a dip to cool off and easy for parents to keep an eye on young ones. Shallow waters for young ones, and a deep enough pool to have fun in for the older ones. Can be a bit mosquito prone, but this has to be balanced against the fact that there is lots of shade. Extensive pathway for bikes and walking.
