I reached out to Adam and Kristen 4.5 years ago to assist me with the daunting task of purchasing my first home. It was one of the best decisions I have made.There are two main phases of Adam and Kristen’s remarkable service; the hunt and the execution.During the hunt, Kristen and Adam provided meaningful and frequent updates on new listings, (often inspecting properties before becoming available to the market) and accurate (and borderline prescient) assessments of expected sale prices. Their fastidious inspection reviews, with the assistance of the wonderful Alexandra, showcased their remarkable knowledge. I found Adam’s architectural insights, and Kristen’s detailed eye for functionality and liveability to be incredibly valuable to my decision-making process and empowering.I was particular on the area in which I wanted to live, and the type of home that I was after. Despite houses matching my ‘wish list’ of features being in rare supply, not once did Adam and Kristen attempt to convince me to settle for something less. Instead, I was repeatedly reassured that the right property would come up, and I was regularly talked out of pursuing properties in which I had expressed some interest but which they considered were not a perfect match. “You can do better for your money”, or “this one is not right for you for ‘X’ reason” are examples of the kinds of honest and timely advice Kristen and Adam regularly provided. It was also common for Adam and Kristen to identify issues with properties which I had not thought to consider.Once the perfect property appeared (which was during the pandemic), Adam and Kristen were relentless in their pursuit of providing me the best chance to secure the property, and their execution was flawless. Adam and Kristen swiftly arranged private inspections for me and guided me through the property, organised due diligence (eg building and pest inspections) at lightning speed from trusted contacts, and masterfully negotiated with the sales agent. Critically, Adam and Kristen provided me with all of the information I needed to make a clear-headed and fully informed decision. Moreover, through their experience and negotiation skills, the sales campaign was shut down early and I bought the house within 24 hours of putting in my offer, with other interested parties unable to keep up with the pace.In my view, Kristen and Adam created the opportunity for me to purchase the home that I would not otherwise have had but for their assistance.
