Make sure you have eaten and gone to the bathroom before shopping here. 1 checkout at peak times means you will be waiting hours just to make a purchase. Go elsewhere if you can.

Chris was great, very helpful, I find Spotlight has just about everything you need. Having a Spotlight card help get you some great reductions on everything.

Spotlight is really good. Plenty of material, craft, kitchen and furnishing supplies. Be patient with finding things. Lots of things can be out of place. If you time your visit right you can score some amazing bargains. Most staff are helpful. Parking is pretty good but not undercover. Some areas of the store are narrow if you're visiting with prams or in a wheel chair.

Having not been to Spotlight for some time I was disappointed by the appearance of the shop. My description was a junk shop". You could hardly walk down the aisles for the goods that were displayed there

Only go here as a last resort. The 1 star is because the staff are lovely. The store feels like a factory seconds outlet. It has zero store appeal. There's way too much stock shoved in racks and piled up on tables with no room to browse comfortably. I'd rather get ripped off but have a pleasant experience then save a dollar in this dusty dirty shed.

Just went into spotlight Coffs Harbour. As a regular I’m pretty adjusted to the somewhat less than stella experience at the material counter, don’t get me wrong there are some absolute gems that work in this area such as the lady with the short dark hair and glasses and the red head with the septum piercing however (and I apologies for never posting a great review on them before but I will)however I was lined up to be served by Steph who was with a customer (was there after I was but I moved away so I was happy to wait) she showed this customer where the product she was looking for (so far fine) then whilst at another location got another customer question then proceeded to price 5 different materials for this 2nd customer instead of radioing and asking for help, she said to me “won’t be long” but again walked off with the customer before FINALLY radioing someone else to come. By this point there were two other customers behind me lined up. As a retail worker who KNOWS all about priority calls and basic human niceties I think it’s disgusting that I have been coming to this store all my life and nothing has ever changed. There is a way of serving that is efficient and courteous so as not to waste not only the customers time but that of the companies. I would suggest a team meeting to discuss the priorities that align with your values and what QUALITY customer service looks like. I will continue from this point forward posting all my spotlight experiences so that something actually changes. There is enough eager people lining up to work at spotlight so I would suggest not taking your company/ your job for granted. Enough is enough. Also shout out to the lady who makes the announcements. If she could head the customer service meeting that would make me very happy. She is an absolute gem.

This is the second time I have visited this store while on holidays and have found it to be the worst Spotlight I have ever been to for wool/ yarn.... It's.everywhere it's like looking for a needle in a haystack...I had bags of wool/ yarn fall on my head and on the floor whilst trying to find a matching dye lot...The wool/ yarn that's on the shelving doesn't correspond with the wool/yarn on the shelf above... It's a mess...

The Yarn out the back right hand corner of the store is always fine soft and lightweight in multiple types and colours.
