Good- drinks and bar staff.Bad-Garlic bread was not toasted and garlic butter was still cold. When I asked for the bread to be toasted the staff were so disappointed they could barely lift her feet to walk it back to the kitchen.Chicken schnitzel was giant processed chicken nugget.How sad as it's a really nice venue

Stayed here for a night and Chloe couldn’t do enough for carrying our luggage upstairsand back down the next morning.Food and coffee were great

The pub had a great atmosphere and was very busy. We waited for over an hour to get our meals. Was so disappointed with the salt and pepper calamari. The pieces were burnt to a cinder and tasted like rubber. There probably was no more than 8 pieces in the serving. The salad it was meant to be served with was nothing more than a few pieces of lettuce. My husband's thai beef salad was certainly a lot better but also nothing to write home about. The James Squire Ginger Beer on tap was delicious but pretty pricey at $15.50 a pint. Overall food was very sub standard. Would not recommend.

Must've been the only place in town for grog & tucker before the Ocean Beach Resort...it has so much potential as a great pub, but it needs to be opened up on the ground floor with much more space provided for the punters. It's very cramped inside. The owners need to invest in this business BIG TIME!!!

We are travelling around WA and had dinner in the Beadon Bay Hotel at Onslow tonight. We don’t eat out often as we’re both pretty good cooks and are usually disappointed.Tonight’s meals exceeded all expectations. I had the fisherman’s basket. It comprised of smoked salmon fresh prawns (they were super fresh), cooked food included fish, scallops with roe, prawns and calamari all done in a really light tempura batter. Also included salad and chips but although good there was no room left …for the chips anyway.My partner had the pork belly with vegetables. He was also super happy with his choice.Would definitely recommend.

3 stars and that’s being generous.The place you stay when there is nowhere else to stay. Cold water showers, sand in the bed sheets from previous stay. Very sad pub food, walked up the road and ate at the resort.

A huge thank you to these guys! We had to cancel our camp ground for the night and we had been on the road all day. We were almost sure we wouldn't be able to find another spot so late in the day.We came to these guys at late notice, gave us a room and saved our holiday.Thank you again so much, you are our guardian angels!

Great old fashion pub with modern service, staff, drinks and meals

Sloppy service with a mixed bag of faces. We waited 45 minutes after ordering food before chasing up. The tepid young girl who initially served us hadn't placed the order with the kitchen then gone off shift. Once we got the food on the hour, with a complimentary drink it was really fine. Just one or two individuals letting the place down on our visit. Other staff members who we spoke to were really good. Would go again as I think we were unlucky.
