Ultra Tune Smithfield

If you're considering taking your vehicle here please read:I took my vehicle there a total of 3 times over a couple of months. Each time attempting to get a whomping in my tyers, that was getting progressively worse, fixed. I drive long distance each day for work so it was concerning. Each time I took it in, the problem wasnt fixed and I noticed other issues immediately after receiving my car back. Spent over $1k on a sway bar (said they this is what's causing the issue) and a drive belt. Replaced the parts, not only did it not fix the issue. At. All. But I noticed a ticking in the engine on the drive home, and that the aircon belt was loose. Took it back, they fixed the belt (though first tried to say it needed an entirely new one) but did nothing about the ticking. This next part is what really sets me off.Out of pure desperation after no other places were available to look at my car any time soon, I went back for a third time. My wheels now jerk slightly while driving, especially bad around corners, the steering feels less responsive and the whomping is now very loud, doesnt feel safe driving it. Had dug through my paper work and found that it was the wheel bearings that caused this issue years ago. I told them this and that the steering is really off and the wheels jerk, especially on corners & that its becoming a serious problem.They call later that day to tell me nothings wrong with the bearings or the car in general, assure me theyd tell me if there was as its a safety issue (Im well aware).Said the front tyres have wear on them so offered to change those. I knew they didnt need to be done immediately but stupidly thought I may as well get 1 issue delt with (Gut told me to say no, should have listened).They waited until that afternoon when I came to collect to tell me their machine to align the wheels has been broken for some time now... I had come to this place about issues with the wheels & that it doesnt feel safe to drive and they thought adding an alignment issue to that was a safe choice? Openly offered to replace tyres that were not an immediate issue knowing that theyd only be half doing the job as they wouldnt be able to align them. I had to stop driving the car afterwards because the whole car literally repeatedly jerked as I went around corners. It made the original issue so much worse.Got it taken to a place in Mossman, they found the issue I kid you not within 20 minutes, and to nobodys surprise, the right hand wheel bearing had given out. They squeezed me in the next day before they shut down for holidays and got it fixed. Saw Ultra Tune Smithfield 3 times about this, the third time telling them EXACTLY what to look at and what was causing it and they STILL told me the car was fine and then ADDED issues for me to get fixed. Would have ended up crashing on the range if I had listened to their diagnosis.Do not take your car here, I could not be more serious.

We received great service from the staff at Smithfield ultra Tune.As we travelling from Tasmania we needed to have the car serviced we were treated with the greatest of respect, nothing was to much and so accommodating. Booked in waited for a week to do wheel bearings they never took down my phone number showed up said they can't do them so had to find another mechanic that could now I have to wait for him delaying my holiday by another week

Fantastic. Threads were stripped and we couldn't mount our new rear number plate. The guys fitted us in same day, fitted the plates and then didn't want to accept any payment.Not often you get service like that. Outstanding.
