Great store,I am new(ish) to the hobby and the staff could strait away help me with what I needed. Branchline has a great range and great prices.Would defiantly recommend going to this store if you are in the area!

As an older person entering the hobby of model railroading 10 years ago I am so glad I have Branchline and their knowledgable and helpful staff on hand to assist me. The owner is an active member of the team and is so helpful and supportive. His technical expertise in and repair skills are first rate. The other members of the team are equally supportive and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Their product knowledge and range of stock, new and used, is my prime source of product for my layout. With their enthusiasm fo the hobby, assistance and guidance I have created a model railway world that I can get lost in. With almost a kilometre of track, Digitrax control system, over 600 pieces of rolling stock and some 30 or more engines/locomotives I am well set up for my retirement. Helpful service, with friendly staff, knowledgeable about anything I asked about.I thought it was just a train shop, but there's a bunch of stuff from other hobby cliques, like slot cars and military models.I went in to buy paints (I didn't know specifically what i needed), and the guys there were really helpful!Will definitely be going back!

They don’t carry much in the way of HO Australian structures anymore. We went there near closing, one bloke never looked up from his mobile phone the whole time we were there, the other bloke was definitely in “going home mode” I live the other side of Melbourne so won’t be going back anytime soon. Brunell’s and Train World have far bigger inventories.

I have spent a lot of time and money here over the years and I have always received excellent service. All the staff have great knowledge. On this occasion, making a purchase over the phone, was quick and easy and received in good time. Thanks.
