Dinner last night was amazing, fresh perfectly cooked seafood. The service was great even on an extremely busy night. It was also a bonus to see the 5 star health rating on the window. Carlo you should be proud of yourself and all your staff.

Very accomodating even though we did not have a booking and they were very busy. Staff were exceptional in assisting us with our vegan requirements and food was amazing. We will definitely be back when we're next in town.

Overpriced for what the food and drinks are. It was only two of us, we felt a bit uncomfortable when we first arrived at the establishment, being non-locals on business; being stared at and we could feel their hesitance in providing service/lack of warmth to us, with the exception of one young lady. What seemed to have bettered the level of service was upon seeing that we are high-paying customers. We had to remind staff for items on two occasions (bottle we ordered), despite the busyness, the lack of communication with the patrons could be improved upon.Anyway, the oysters were fresh which was great and to be expected. Pizza was oily, tasted quite generic. The Barefoot mascato was $32 per bottle, when RRP normally ranges from $6-12 per bottle and $30~ for 6. I would have no complaints paying the this kind of price for the food, but only if it the standards (quality, finesse) matched. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) being a bottle and half in, made the food seem better.Tiramisu was lacking in the richness and flavour. Lemon posset was decent.Would I go there again?Absolutely not.This was just for two people, yes.

We had a fantastic experience at Carlo's. After a long drive, could not ask for anything better. The restaurant was almost full and the staff looked busy and run off their feet. While many other restaurants closed service due to the post covid staff shortages, these guys were doing their best, to serve everybody on a Sunday evening. So attentive and jolly! We were even serenaded with an Italian song. The food was exquisite. The fish of the day was Ling with prawns. The Ling was buttery soft and so tasty with lemon butter sauce and roast veggies. We also had the prawn linguine and that was perfect. Scooped up every last drop of that sauce. Wonderful meal, worth every penny.

The place was busy for dinner during the school holidays. We turned up without a booking but a friendly staff member managed to find a table for our party.We had a large garlic pizza to share, fish of the day, salt and pepper squid, linguine and prawns, casserole of seafood. Savoury dishes were excellent so we decided to try the deserts too. Volcano lava cake and tiramisu were yummy, though the cake was a bit to sweet for my taste.Prices were on the higher end but worth it. Friendly and helpful staff.Car park available nearby. Booking recommended.

The food is absolutely amazingly. The customer service is second to none, it's definitely worth the night out. Highly recommend to anyone for any occasion... Our date night away form our 6 children was just that extra special tonight because of the staff that made us feel so welcome.
