Running Creek Camping Reserve
Nice and peaceful spot for camping along with river ample parking and toilet facility but no proper tracking trail. Quiet off the main road as well could be very hard in rainy weather for 2WD’s

Running Creek Camping Reserve
Very large camp area with 2 toilets and river next to the Campsite. Very clean with grass beds. Most of the fire place are handmade with river stones. We camped here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. There is a nice walking trail next to campsite and plenty of off road tracks around.

One of my favourites to visit! 2WD area is always busy, but go across a river or two and it's heaven. Not far from Melbourne either.

Running Creek Camping Reserve
Classic spot to stop for a fire on the banks of the picturesque Howqua river. It can be accessed by 2 wheel drive when conditions are good. There are some great 4x4 tracks around to explore and some good little hikes too.

Great place to camp busy at Easter but excellent the rest of the time. The river is great to sit in. The hikes that you can do from here are awesome.

Running Creek Camping Reserve
Basic bush camping, drop dunnies, plenty of camping space and if you have a capable vehicle (read 4WD) you can cross the rivers to access more camp sites. Fantastic trail running/hiking track between here and Tobacco Flats called the Lower Howqua Feeder Trail (warning 11km one way).

Nice campspot with plenty of space. Steep downhill and loads of flies, so don't forget your flynet hat. There wasn't any toilet paper when we were there so byo. Nice little river for swimming.

Beautiful spot to camp. Great during the cooler month's so you can have a camp fire. The Howqua river runs past the reserve and is shallow during the dry month's. There are basic pit toilets. No phone coverage.

Running Creek Camping Reserve
Excellent spot to camp with lots of room. Toilets, pet friendly, free, good spot to cool off in creek or to fish. Also a river crossing if you want to camp on the other side.
