聚福 Treasure Bowl Chinese Restaurant

I'm not sure if I've missed something about this new restaurant, went for dinner with some friends, got a stir fry, peking duck and crispy pork, each dish was averaging about $25-40 with a bill of nearly $160 for 4 people, left hungry. Wondering where was the yum cha dishes and other dishes like dumplings etc cause that's what I was more after. After seeing photos on google they definitely have that stuff so I'm so confused

Tried this place because people recommended it. I didnt know it’s more like to-order yumcha during lunch. Restaurant is small but clean and feels more elegant than most Chinese restaurants. Recommended to book because it was busy when we came on Sunday lunchtime. So i ordered a few things like steamed dumplings, roast pork, chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, wasabi fried prawns, xiao long bao, calamari. Overall all were cooked nicely, tasted nice. My favourite will be the roast pork, I believe it’s the best roast pork i have had so far. Very crispy skin, very flavoursome. I wish they are more generous with the oyster sauce for the chinese broccoli. They are very good at refilling the teapot with hot water, although sometimes it was a bit hard to get their attention. For dessert, we had custard bun and the staff recommended strawberry pancake which I never heard of, so ordered both. What was annoying is that they come in 2 pieces and when I asked if we can have 3 pieces serve (there are 3 of us), they said they can’t which is very stiff for a small restaurant. Everywhere else is flexible with this. Custard bun wasnt sweet at all, so I probably won’t get again. Strawberry pancake was ok, tasted like a pancake rolled with filling of strawberry cream that reminds me of strawberry yoghurt. Overall very nice food but more on the side of small portion and expensive for the price. Service is better than most yumcha places. I will come back for a dinner menu for that roast pork again!!!Back here again on Christmas day and tried a lot more things the yum cha menu: fried wonton, beef balls, chive and prawn dumplings, honey pork ribs, spicy salt tofu, stuffed eggplant, siu mai. All cooked beautifully. Roast pork belly is again, perfect and crispy. The honey pork ribs also was super nice, sauce was just yum. I also love the stuffed eggplant. Staff are very attentive. Watch out with chili oil, super hot! It wasn’t expensive when we had to pay ($100 for 4 people on public holiday) so we are so happy, can’t fault the foods or service, price so reasonable too. Have definitely become our favourite yum cha place.

Good restaurant for Cantonese food. Staff were friendly and food arrived promptly, however some dishes were a bit too salty. The dishes are reasonably priced and portions are great for sharing.

Not just the food is nice! The service is first class from attentive uniformed employees for a small family sized restaurant with 11 tables of varying size to cater from 1-12 people per table! The table cloth, clean floor and toilet… it is my favourite restaurant in Bayswater. The dishes are Authenthic , not sweetened and full of sauces like some take always. They serve yum Cha from 11-3; then dinner from 5-10pm. Closed on Mondays. One certainly need to book for Fridays, weekends and public holidays!! You have to be there to find out! After being a customer twice a week since it’s opening in April, I am still trying out different dishes! Keep the goodies coming! You have given class to meals here!

Came here for a dinner. Food was authentic and mostly quite good. Some dishes had very strong flavours (salty or sweet) for my taste however. Fairly good little Chinese restaurant. Would recommend.

Absolutely Delicious! The staff were also really friendly and funny, I really felt like they went the extra mile to care for my partner and I. The serving sizes were generous too and all very fresh (my photos do no justice), will definitely be back again some time. Thank you!

Tasty Cantonese cuisine at a good price with prompt service. I came here for Friday night dinner and was promptly seated. Impressed with the roast pork, peiking pork chop, and hotplate tofu that I ordered. Food was tasty, served quickly, and staff were attentive. Would recommend booking ahead next time.

Great food, really generous serves and super reasonable prices. Always really impressed with the quality of the dishes and the total bill cost too. They’re always quick and friendly when I’ve gone to collect our takeaway too.
