Golden Fish and Chicken
Have been here before and had the sausage pack. Was terribly dry. This time I asked for extra gravy. Made a point of wanting extra gravy.It was so dry it was almost inedible. Just put more gravy on.

Golden Fish and Chicken
Tried this fish & chip shop for the first time tonight. Had the butter fish and chips. Very generous portion with 2 huge pieces of fish beautifully cooked. Chips delicious too. Very friendly service. Shop nice and clean. Looking forward to our next visit!! Good value for money.

6.45pm pick up a roast chook for dinner. Last one in the warmer. Must been have been there all day. The driest tasteless chook I’ve ever had, even the dark meat was hard to swallow. Dogs might like it.

Recently purchased a small chicken AB, whilst it came out in a good sized pack, it was mostly chips and little meat. Best go somewhere else if you want a good AB

Unfortunately the chicken was very dry. When you pay $15 for a chook you would like it to be moist and succulent. The chickens from the supermarket are much nicer. The chips weren’t too bad but I was disappointed overall .

The chips were still undercooked, powdery and lack of salt. Also the gravy was very light on,and when asked for a little more,said they had run out that's why it was light on and definitely was watered down.

What a turn around with new owners. We purchased fish packs (2 large fish, chips and tartare sauce) The fish was lightly battered and was not oily once cooked and chips were crisp. Very tasty meal and only $9 per pack. The menu is typical of a fish and chicken shop but the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go back to this shop.
