Fortitude Music Hall
Great spot, surrounded by bars and restaurants, the venue creates an intimate experience due to the size and ease of seeing the stage from most positions, on the floor section.. not so sure about the upper seating area, I noticed some people may have struggled with the view due to pillars.Easy access to bars, with the main at the entrance and 1 in the hall, I believe on both sides of the standing area.Parking was easy, using 1 of 3 buildings in the area, only $20 after 4pm in McWhirters, however getting out was a nightmare, cars backed up for 20mins, before moving, with most people leaving at the same time. I think the issue was made worse with a breakdown on the exit bar. Probably would not have been such a big deal if I arrived earlier and found a park on a lower level, I ended up on 4.Photos taken from back of the hall

Saw Kurtis Conner's Down Under tour here, and the venue is beautiful. It's well kept, clean and inviting. It has two bars for beverages and small sitting areas to relax before the show.

Best Music Venue in Brisbane! Bars everywhere (5-6), fantastic staff, more than enough people behind the bar to support the crowd, so lines are short. The main stage is very high, so matter where you are, you can see what's happening. Giant air-conditioning vents that blow into the Mosh area so you're never over heated. Fantastic sound and no noise restrictions!Just the best venue all around!

First time visiting this venue, I was impressed by the simple layout and art Deco look. Great sound and lighting. Easy access to the bars and restrooms on both levels. Good place to go and listen to live music. Drinks are expensive so keep that in mind.

Wow! Made my first visit to FMH in order to witness the spectacle/brilliance/magic that is The Dead South. This venue is stunning; spacious, opulent, extravagant and tastefully stylish. Sia would have loved it, there's ample chandeliers. There were staff aplenty, and the few that I directly engaged were helpful and friendly. There are several ways in and out of the venue so that, even with thousands of us attending a sold out show, the flow was seamless and relatively efficient. In truth, the significantly large number of patrons only became apparent once we were stuck in the nearby car park, waiting an hour to get out! Next time, I'll park farther away and walk a little extra.Even the theatre-styled layout of the venue is excellent. Not being in the mood for an 'up-close-and-personal' experience on the floor, I opted to move to the side along one of the railings. From there, I had a perfect aerial view that was still in close proximity to the stage. All my fellow patrons were pleasant and respectful, so we never felt crowded or uncomfortable.Last, but definitely not least, there are multiple bars and toilets on both levels of the premises. You can fill up and empty out with the greatest of ease!Overall, this venue deserves high praise, both for its calibre as a music venue, and for the staff (and Security) that offered professionalism and pleasantries throughout.I'm not sure when I'll visit FMH again but, rest assured, I'll look forward to it when I do! Keep up the great work, folks.

10CC concert was amazing, only marred by 3 noisy wine swigging 30 something females talking continuously behind us.First time visitor to the Fortitude Valley Music Hall. WoW!! Decor is spectacular with so many bars to choose from. All staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful from super chill bar staff to those helping us find our seats. Now I'll be looking for more reasons to go back and enjoy another performance here.

Came for the ashnikko concert. We got in not long after doors opened and had the absolute best experience here. You will get a good view from anywhere you are. Super disability friendly, very accessible and the staff are all wonderful.

A beautiful spacious hall for live music - no overcrowding on the floor watching our concert this eve, yet intimate enough to see clearly. Good acoustics and the mezzanine area up top is really spacious too. Well organised venue, staffed well and just a gorgeous building. Parking in secure parking nearby is pretty reasonable for $17 flat rate on the week end.

I’ve been to almost every concert venue in Brisbane and I can safely say I’ve never had an experience quite like this one.Me and a group of friends attended Fortitude Music Hall for empire of the sun as VIP early access. They packed the place to the point where some people couldn’t even get in the door, we were second row from the front and had to walk out before it even began because we were simply struggling to breathe, the amount of people vaping/smoking weed was insane, this wasn’t allowed in the venue but was so poorly enforced that everyone did it anyway no one had any common courtesy for anyone else, fights broke out in the middle of the crowd where a poor girl had to be pulled over the barrier with a bloody forehead, people were sitting on others shoulders, beer was being thrown around into the crowd from the top balconies and on the floor…. The only way to describe the whole experience was that it made me and my friends feel unsafe.I’ll never attend this venue ever again.
