National Park Pass is needed. The entry site 'automated' entry system does not work and does not say where to actually get an entry. The entry pass is actually obtained from back at the Porongorup village store . Once at the car park area there is a BBQ and tables. These are set amidst the eastern most karri forest in WA. Worth a visit just for these magnificent trees. The tree in the rock takes just a couple of minutes to get to. Even better is the Nancy Peak loop. 3.75km over the ridge, grade 4 difficulty due to the northern rocky descent. Easy walk back to the car park via the base of ridge track. Great views from Nancy Peak of the Stirling Ranges.

Worth having a look at this interesting specimen of a tree growing on top of a rock. A very short and easy walk (bare feet are ok on this pat of the trail) from the car park.
