Big4 Aussie Outback Oasis Holiday Park

Great place to stay, loved the campfire nights, food & music.Amenities clean. Plenty of room to move. Very friendly park managers. Great atmosphere. Quiet area.

Was a little expensive $150 for a night place looked like it needed a bit of love not ovely friendly was a bit flat no smiles or gday ive stayed at a few of the big 4s and this one sorry to say was lacking in everything

First visit a few months back was good. Second visit not so much, couldn't get hot water to kitchen sink, handles on taps in shower were back to front( cold was hot) and i had to pull the underbench plug for fridge out to use microwave( single powerpoint). On checkout i did nicely bring these problems to the attention of reception. Third visit( in the last few days) they gave me the same cabin despite being asked not to, none of these issues had been addressed. Upon checkout i spoke to the same lady who said that the taps had been fixed but someone must have changed them back( they do it all the time in the ablutions block apparently?) Someone had also stolen the double adaptor again that is for fridge/ microwave, noticed now there is a heater which is thoughtful but you can't use the fridge or micro if you use it. These issues are an easy enough fix. Receptionist made no attempt at making amends. Would only stay again if i couldn't get anywhere else.

Booked a week ahead to only find the living area aircon was working in the cabin, staff didn't seam to care much. the bedroom got cool but didn't get much sleep. Was meant to stay 2 weeks but 1 night was enough.

Enjoyed our time at the park. Matt and his lovely wife (park managers) were very friendly and accommodating. Park was well looked after and caravan sites were very spacious. Amenities were clean and tidy. We enjoyed the wood fire pizza night and my son loves the pool and jumping pillow. Matt was very informative on things to do in local area with some great suggestions. Definately be back. Thanks guys.

Nice park, plenty of shade and green grass. Sites good size. Loved the wood fired pizza on Wednesday and Friday nights. Only negative comment is allowing 4 dogs on one site!! Definitely recommend this park. We stayed 5 nights.

Not happy at all. Cabin was dangerous, 1 nail in the foot from patio with broken slat and bathroom tile cut a toe. Hire duo bike 3 times (not cheap at $30, compared to other parks that do the same). everytime they got in the rules changed ( was allowed up driveway, then couldn't go past crossing at entrance and then wasn't allowed past black line in driveway. 2 different people and 3 different rules.Advertised Bells Ice, NOPE they make their own up in ziplock bags. WPHS how is this not contaminated, clean environment ect.Officeady wears no shoes in or outside of office (but remember safety while on bikes or scooter and dont worry about broken slats or tiles)BYO toilet paper, we had quarter on roll on arrival, nicely folded but that was all. No extra paper given. For over $370 for 2 nights I'd like 2 rollsBooked beside each other, had confirmation then on arrival that had changed, Amber msg to say it was done but got informed Amber always does that. In future ask if it locked in" or it will be changed to allow other reservations. I heard another person at park mentioned samething as they had to walk between cabins after booking beside each other and having confirmation.Pizza night is a joke

Worst experience ever. Arrived late in the night tired of the ride and looked for a campsite. However, the reception was closed and we thought that we just go to the reception in the morning. In the morning, the owner woke us up and threatened us in a rude way that he would have the right to shoot us which is excessive and confronted us harshly. I understand that we trespassed but this situation could have been handled much better and much more calmly. I advice going to the other campsites available and meet friendlier people.
