THE GOOD: the entrees were good, the calamari and arancini balls were lovely too. I think their motto is to make the drinks first so you cant taste the food after, if you could taste it in the first place anyway.THE BAD:Lasagna was burnt on the sides as other reviews stated, none of the food even closely resembled Italian. Moreover I would prefer to buy a $5 cheese pizza from dominos than the Margherita pizza. For a $24 pizza and it to be covered in cheese and flakes of basil and resembling the taste of plastic, it didn’t live up to the mark. I gave said pizza to three people and asked if they could taste it and all three agreed they couldn’t.Lastly the bill was not able to be split, my advice is to make things rounded. Additionally we received an “updated” bill halfway through everyone paying, making it that much harder.Overall the seating was separate for a semi large group, the service was semi okay, the food aside from entrees had virtually no taste and the bill was separate which is archaic at best.

The Spaghetti House Trattoria
Our go to when seeing a show at qpac. Food is always delicious. The rocket and pear salad is the best side dish ever, and the tiramisu is to die for. Could improve a bit on service, things like checking in for more drinks, do we want cracked pepper, extra Parmesan etc. staff always happy to oblige when asked but would be nice not to have to chase them for it.

A must avoid place. It was not a great experience when we visited this Saturday. Wanted to try Italian so gave this restaurant a try. The food was really bad. Ordered la carne pizza and spaghetti carbonara. Both were too oily and didn't taste good. Even the drinks were not good. The italian sangria, and mohito, both were bitter and loaded with Ice. Not the way you expect it anywhere else. We gave a feedback and there wasn't any acknowledgement. They just ignored it. Maybe because it's a tourist place and they dont expect a return customer. We definitely won't be back.

Surrounded by the hustle and bustle of South Bank and the Cultural Precinct The Spaghetti House is perfectly positioned to accommodate groups with things to do".Our group of 8 were seeing Moulin Rouge at 7.30pm at QPAC. Our dinner booking was for 5.30pm on a Saturday. We were seated on time with food on our table with plenty of time to eat comfortably before making the 8 minute walk to QPAC.Prices and serve sizes were appropriately balanced. Most importantly

Easy booking, great food, amazing range of cocktails and mocktails. Portions are perfectly sized. Service was overall great but did taper off towards the end.For a more intimate meal, request inside seating as outside still has the sidewalk traffic going ‘through’ the restaurant.

The Spaghetti House Trattoria
We had lunch with some friends yesterday. The food was fine, nothing special and not worth the price (nearly $200 for 4 drinks and 4 mains). The staff were friendly but clearly stretched, we waited at least 30 minutes for our drinks and close to an hour for our food. It was busy but 4 drinks and pizzas don’t take that long. Won’t be rushing back.
