Harvey Norman Flagship Store Auburn

recently had a highly unpleasant experience at Harvey Norman, primarily due to the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of one of their staff members. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of basic manners and customer service skills, especially from a prominent retailer like Harvey Norman.From the moment I approached this particular staff member, it was evident that they lacked any semblance of professionalism. They greeted me with a dismissive attitude and appeared completely disinterested in assisting me. Their tone was condescending, and they made no effort to hide their impatience. It was abundantly clear that they viewed their interactions with customers as an inconvenience rather than an opportunity to provide assistance and make a sale.Moreover, their lack of manners was astonishing. They interrupted me while I was speaking, barely let me finish my sentences, and repeatedly rolled their eyes as if my questions were a bother. I found this behavior extremely disrespectful and completely unacceptable.As a customer, I deserve to be treated with common courtesy and respect, which this staff member failed to Provide

We came in store to buy a laptop and was greeted by the very polite and well informed sales person Manish. He took his time to educate us on the best computer for our needs and we were so happy with his customer service and what he offered that we ended up buying two! Such great personalised service by a true gentleman!

Nice store with good underground parking, friendly staff, Mel was very helpful, and explained all vacuum options to us with great patience. They are understaffed in tv section though. Especially close to EOFY

You can buy all you need for your house. We have been coming here to buy pretty much every white goods. The staffs are super helpful, give very good information, polite, not pushy. We feel very comfortable shopping here.

Absolute unprofessionals at this Hardly Normal store. Dishonest, makes false promises, takes zero responsibility. They just care about sales and don’t give a s*** about anything else including fixing up the mess they had created.I went in store on a Friday afternoon and wanted to take on 4 mobile services. Hong (salesperson in mobile department) was the one dealing with this. He checked with his manager; who approved the signup so proceeded to go through the process. Right before handing over the devices, manager came over said sorry we can only hand 2, we will cancel the other 2 services. Why did you approve something then change your mind?For nearly 3 weeks, my other 2 services were not cancelled. Called up Optus multiple times, only to be told to contact Hardly Normal. Fair enough, it was the stores mistake. Contacted Hong multiple times and was repeatedly told they had communicated the issue with Optus and it’ll be fixed in 1-2 days. He also promised to call me back with an update. Why make false promises with the customer and say you’ll follow up with no response back?Tired of waiting and talking to these dishonest and hopeless staff so filed a TIO complaint and surprise surprise, 3 senior Optus staff contacted me and apologised profusely for the very “disappointing” customer experience when it should have been a quick and simple fix. Optus had to fix up Hardly Normal’s mess they created. I had to chase up on behalf of Hardly Normal, wasting hours of my precious time. Took 30 mins to sign me up, nearly 3 weeks to cancel.Lesson learnt, AVOID this Hardly Normal store at all costs. Do yourself a favour and do not buy anything here.

A great place to look for ideas and shop for a new home. Pretty much a one-stop mall for new home furnishing. Huge range of products on display, presented in a nice ambience. Makes the shopping experience quite exciting and enjoyable.

Purchased a large LG Fridge last Sunday. The selling process was good but it is a bit of a fudge with the installation. The fridge has the water dispenser/ ice in the door, which it needs plumbing at the rear of the fridge, which we already had. The impression given by the salesman is that the delivery guys will do it if they can. The reality is that they do not do the installation of the plumbing nor remove any of the packing inside the fridge nor install the water filter.The Installation meanstake the fridge out of the boxremove the old fridgeplace the fridge in place and plug in.Harvey Norman Blacktown have the same discourse with their salepeople unless they use different transport but it was the overselling of the extended warranty there that made us go to Auburn
