The Tall Timbers Hotel
No order too tallThe Tall Timbers is an underrated establishment. Its location and convenience of the courtesy bus make it an attractive choice for any possible patrons in the local area.I ordered a BBQ Meatlovers pizza from the kitchen. I didn't have to wait long since it swiftly arrived at the table. The pizza had me in respite. It's hard to find decent pizza around the Central Coast, let alone from non-Italian restaurants. It doesn't do anything fancy, but that's okay. They've mastered the basics of a good pizza. The pizza was well cooked; it had my taste buds salivating from just the sight of it. I anticipated to bite into the crust, but I had to wait for it to be placed in front of me first. As the waitress delivered it, I bit into it immediately. I could taste the cabanossi and shredded ham on top, the cheese underneath it, shrouding the pepperoni and BBQ base. The fries are high quality compared to a lot of restaurants as well. The staff are generally friendly, and the security on-site is cordial and level-headed.If you are a local in the area of the Tall Timbers, then I highly recommend you take advantage of their courtesy bus service. It's a handy service if you want to come in for a drink, as there is limited parking on busy days. The hotel's outdoor space is perfect for performers or bands to utilize. Playing music creates a festive atmosphere, and the presence of a large outdoor TV adds to the experience. The menu price is a little steep compared to other places on the Central Coast, but it isn't something to mind when you consider the quality of the food.I recommend coming to the Tall Timbers Hotel. The prices are a little bit high, but you're getting higher-quality food in return for that slight increase in cost. This business is underrated. I always aim to visit the establishment as often as possible due to the quality of food, the convenience of the courtesy bus, and the generally pleasant staff. Please come here and experience what they have to offer. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Love this Pub!!Don't judge a book by its cover. This pub is family friendly and had great food. We've been back 3 times as it just has the best beer garden. I just wish it was closer to home, it would be my regular.

A fairly decent pub, plenty of space and friendly service. However, you have to question why the fish of the day is permanently priced at $49, and surf and turf $59, that's fine dining prices! People don't come for a pub feed expecting to pay those prices. Such a shame as otherwise pretty good.

My father took me there when I was 10 or 12 and I'm 58 now you could sit on the front verandah out side and I remember it always had that good feeling about it, and I was there the other day it might have change a bit but it still has that good soul feeling about it that some places just never lose

Good establishment with outdoor dining. Food is excellent and portions are large. There's a mini football court for the kids to be entertained in. 2 snooker tables and function room.

Had lunch, I got specials fish burger and it was pretty ordinary. Bun was stale, fish was soggy due to being up against sliced tomato within the burger. A smear of sauce (I think it was tartare) even though menu said Aoli. For $25 was not something I'd order again. My son and husband had the cheeseburgers each and they also said their buns were stale. Great service though!!

Travelling from Sydney to The Hunter with two young kids usually means a stop half way. Determined not to stop at the twin servos again, we googled and settled on the Tallies (Tall Timbers Hotel) at Ourimbah.5 - 7 minutes off the M1, very easy to get to. We loved it and are very glad we stopped. A large outdoor area with lots of facilities for the kids, live music, a big screen and great food. The venue itself was clean and well maintained. We paid $80 for a starter, 2 X adult meals and 2 X kids meals. The quality of the food was good with larger than normal serves. The menu was normal pub fare, Chicken Schnitzels, Parmys, Steaks etc. My wife had the Parmy which was great and I had the Battered fish and chips.I did spy a proper espresso machine in operation but didn't end up trying the coffee. Next time! The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return and seeing as we make the Hunter to Sydney run often, I'd say this may become a regular stop.

Great pub food and friendly staff. I recommend a table outside under the sun with a cold drink. Try the loaded nachos and the Texan Schnitty for a yummy hearty lunch. Plenty of parking spaces, large and clean facilities, many activities for kids as well.
