Today I visited Dominion Barbers for the first time. I was utterly amazed and impressed. My barber was incredible. I forgot his name, but he is Greek, with a beard and hat. From the moment I walked in, I greeted professionally, offered a beverage and enjoyed a comfortable 10 min wait. The barber advised me to restyle my hair that suits my personality and persona. He spent 40 mins guiding me through the hairstyle/cut while I enjoyed him interacting with customers and running the shop. This man will now become my local barber.Thank you.

I don't like to leave negative reviews but I was seriously disappointed with how my visit went today.I came here and asked for a 1 inch trim, just to tidy up some split ends, and maybe some layering. I typically go to salons because my hair is on the longer side, but as I'm a man, I was told that the salon side was for women only, and I had to go to the barber side, where the hairdresser honestly seemed to have never dealt with long hair before. He cut off about 3-4 times as much length as I asked for, did no shaping or layering at all, and by the end I was at best underwhelmed.I was also upsold on a beard trim, which turned into a full service with shave, shape, straight razor, hot towel etc. Again, much more length was removed than I asked, and my beard was extremely uneven by the end.Afterwards, I just wanted to get out, so I told him it was fine and went up to pay, expecting a typical price for a budget men's trim and shave, as that's the service I'd received, and was charged $90. A price I'd be more than happy to pay if I'd gotten the service I was expecting when I walked in, but seemed very steep for what I'd received.

Carla is an amazing human, I came in looking like sh*t and she made me leave feeling like a million bucks. These ladies work so hard and do such an great job. Thank you for the best haircut experience I’ve ever had ❤️

Every single time I’ve left dominion, the staff make me feel empowered and so happy with my haircut. After some horrible trauma as a kid with hairdressers, it takes a lot of energy for me to book in and get a haircut, but I’m never leaving dominion without a smile on my face ☺️

Professional men's hair dresser with no waiting time when I visited. Nice to be able to walk in without an appointment, although it may have been just a quiet time. I appreciated the two big screen TV's running in the background for when you just want your hair cut and you don't want a conversation with your hair dresser. I will be returning.

Fantastic service and a great haircut by the guys at Dominion Hair in Chadstone. I let them know about surgery I’m having tomorrow and they made the haircut free! I’d recommend anyone to visit! Thanks guys!!

Went to get a haircut in Chadstone today and was greeted into this fine establishment by a lovely young woman named Jess and sat down with exceptional customer service to a barber named Aki.I am very impressed with this barber as I have not necessarily met one with such exquisite precision when it comes to fades and lining, punctual and fully present with very good conversation and a beer to top it all off, great recommendations when i asked about products, with extensive knowledge in respect to each and every item.I went for a haircut and came out feeling like a million bucks, thanks to the guys at Dominion I will sure be making this a regular thing.Keep up the good work.

My hairdresser was Pear. She was very friendly and easy going right from the start, in fact everyone in the salon was great. My poor hair was very badly bleach damaged and had a box dye red colour (with a dark brown regrowth), which made it look and feel like straw! I wanted to go back to my natural dark brown but I didn't want it to be too dark or heavy looking, and include a significant chop. Pear did an amazing job! My hair is not only a much better colour but its also healthier and softer. She did two different colour tones based off of the red and the brown regrowth and then cut and shaped my hair to suit my natural curly texture. A month later, and the colour is still vibrant with no red tones showing through, and I can style it with no issues. I absolutely loved my experience and I'll definitly be back!
