We are compelled to share our thoroughly disappointing experience with Hall Group & Co. a company that has left us utterly frustrated and disheartened. After months of anticipation, false promises and countless discussions, they ultimately declined our renovation project. Our hope is that my review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering their services.From the outset, Hall Group & Co. appeared to be a reputable and reliable choice. We engaged with Anothony R. (company rep), and we had multiple meetings/ discussions, where they showcased their expertise, presented impressive portfolios, and gave us assurances that they were committed and the perfect fit for our project (renovation of a townhouse in the Inner West). Excitement grew, and we eagerly awaited the commencement of work.However, as time wore on, it became evident that their promises were nothing more than empty words/lip service. Despite our persistent inquiries, they were not reachable and consistently delayed revising and finalizing their quote, citing unforeseen circumstances and various excuses. What started as a small delay soon transformed into a waiting game that spanned several months. The lack of communication and transparency only added to the mounting frustration.The careless attitude displayed by Hall Group & Co. was truly disheartening. They failed to respect our time, and the importance of the tender process/ due diligence of a client. It was as if our renovation project was no longer a priority for them, despite their earlier claims of commitment and dedication.Finally, after enduring months of disappointment and dashed hopes, we received the news on 9/6/23 (we engaged them on 12/9/22), that Hall Group & Co. was declining the job (only after me picking up the phone and making one of my multiple “chase up” calls). This unexpected rejection left us feeling utterly dejected and betrayed. Their unprofessional behavior and inability to fulfill their promises have not only wasted our precious time but also caused significant inconvenience and stress.We now must start the tender process from scratch as. Our renovation project is now going to be delayed significantly. We declined other potential builders based on false promises made by the Hall Group & Co, only to be told that they don’t have the capacity (6 months after we first engaged), and other jobs have taken priority.A builder's reputation lies in their ability to deliver on their commitments and promises. Unfortunately, Hall Group & Co. has failed on this count. We would strongly advise anyone seeking construction services to exercise caution and consider their options. It is disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for customers' time and trust.

Working with Hall Group was a dream, the entire team was super responsive and their work is flawless. They finished my renovation exactly on schedule (during COVID!) and were both fun and professional throughout the whole process.

Recently I completed a 2-bdrm hybrid re-flooring project with the company, and not only did their representative, Craig get involved and made sure I got the best supplied product and service but also put in their extra company extra time and effort to make sure the attention detail was excellent and quality controlled to delivery great results. I’ve been loving my new flooring since, it’s so easy to clean, looks fabulous, and most importantly added so much aesthetic value to my unit. Since then, I’ve been recommending the company and Craig to my family and friends. Thanks so much for such a beautiful outcome.
