My mother's prepaid funeral with Allison Monkhouse was a godsend as some of the key funeral decisions had already been made. Elle Barry at the Hastings Office was very organised and proactive. She looked after us really well from start to finish. We were impressed by her knowledge and also compassionate and respectful approach. She played a key role in making my mother's farewell both memorable and beautiful.I have no hesitation in recommending Elle and also her colleagues at Allìson Monkhouse. It is always good to deal with locally-based representatives.

On 07/04/22 the funeral service for my dad, was held at Bunurong Memorial Park. Elle Barry was our consultant whom we dealt with when organising our mother’s funeral, she was superlative, warm-hearted and so caring where we felt so comfortable with her as if she was our family member, she made the whole experience seem so much easier in such a traumatic time. Working with the Meeting House Media to prepare the funeral booklet, photo tribute and music was handled with great respect and expertise, resulting in a beautifully presented booklet, photo tribute and perfect sound quality of our chosen music. From attending to Michael in preparation for his viewing to his final farewell at our parish church we felt our son was in good hands. When my husband died I went to Allison Monkhouse at Hastings just to take a look and was pleasantly surprised. From outside it looked ordinary but once inside I felt it was the perfect place.Elle Barry greeted me and my son Michael with the most warm welcome and put us at ease. It was like talking to an old friend. She is the perfect person to be at Hastings and anyone would feel her sincerity and care.I would say that it was beyond my expectations and I was very happy with the service and all staff concerned with my husband's funeral.
