Southern highlands mobile mower repairs

Zero customer service. Had a blown engine diagnosed with a wait time of 4-6weeks for a replacement. Was told payment in full was required to secure the engine. I paid the full amount ($1860)including the installation costs only to have my calls avoided after 6 weeks of waiting and no communication regarding the extended wait. My awnser was an apparent planned foot operation which was never communicated when my money was taken in full with no remorse. I found this out at the 5 week wait mark. If I would have known I would have engaged someone else. After a further 6 weeks of calls and texts ( at this stage paying $180 per pop for my lawn to be mowed) demanding my money back with no awnser I had to get in touch with the Macarthur mowers After 11 weeks to force through a refund direct, bypassing southern highlands mower repairs.I ended up being out of pocket $370 with no refund of the install for nothing short of a wild goose chase, while paying 4 x $180 per mow in the interim.Even after the refund from macarthur mowers no effort from this customer serviceless business was made and still no funds owing have been refunded in full for services that where never recieved, or change communicated.Now my money for the engine replacement from Macarthur mowers has been recieved, next stop is the department of fair trading to highlight the consumer risk.

Repaired blown engine gasket just using bog. However, charged for new gasket. Total cost $500. Engine failed of course with irreparable damage. Had new engine installed by someone else. Out of pocket $2800. I have photos of damage and a comprehensive report. This was incompetence and fraud.

Excellent customer service, repair on my ride on was done professionally and quickly, Steve took it for a mow to ensure everything was perfect. Fee was more than reasonable, and he gave me some handy tips. Very very happy with everything will be my go to mechanic

Would not have them near my mower again they had no idea how to fix the blade problem.Saw your reply and it is a wonder it even worked for you for the little bit you tried as you had the blade brakes all back the front and it was fixed by my son who seems to know more about how they work than you do.

Friendly reliable service BUT he charges a 'Call Out' fee for anything outside of the Southern Highlands area. This was NOT mentioned when booking the job and the call out fee was MORE than the cost of total labour and parts. I dont know how you can charge a 'Call Out' fee when its a MOBILE service.

Do NOT use this bloke. He is hopeless, utterly hopeless. I twice gave him my Toro mower to fix blades that would not engage. He charged me approximately $500.00 for both attendances and the mower has not been fixed. I had to take it to another repairer who, in turn, had to fix the original problem and then the mistakes of this guy. I rang him about this and he was indignant and rude and would not accept any responsibility for his poor workmanship. Hopeless.
