Holiday Haven Bendalong

So nice to stay in a friendly and great campground, and the service was exceptional.The girls in the office went out of their way to help when my motorbike broke down.Will be back again and my thanks for your assistanceGeorge Szymkiewicz

Trying to contact the them over 1 month agilo and no one answer the calls. Left lots of messages and never received a call back. Really wanted to stay there but apparently won't be possible.

This holiday Haven has some of the loveliest views and beachs surrounding it, and very nice modern cabins with great amenities. But, I will never be returning. The staff are so horrible and unorganised. Zero communication between them all. They never answer the phone no matter how many times you call a day, they claim to call you back but they don't unless they want to harrass you for payment (which I had previously been given the OK by a staff member to pay on arrival). They over charged us by $120 and never apologised, and were so aggressive about it when we asked them what had happened. Continuosly speaking over me, and not ineterested in any way to hear our concerns. Members of our group were charged all different prices, there is no uniform billing process.Yes the park and surrounds are nice, but the staff really make you feel like a burden. Go to Lake Conjola BIG4 instead (basketball courts and tennis courts as well as jumping pillows, pool and splash park), way better amenities and just as nice surroundings. You can always drive down to the bay, no need to stay here.EDIT: Also, forgot to add this in my final review. A member of my booking group had gone to the office to query if they had any more cabins available as they did not answer after calling many times. The lady at the desk started to talk badly about me and complain because I had not paid yet (even though as mentioned earlier I was given the OK to pay arrival). This is so unprofessional, and so incredibly rude. Please train your staff to act accordingly.

Paid $42 a nite for a powered tent site bit rich i thought but everthing was clean

The park is awesome, so are the amenities. Some people complain about staff. What staff? We only saw a friendly man cleaning toilets. We had powered site and we didn’t even have to stop at the office as we have received all instructions/codes via email.The bad part is Bendalong road that leads to the park. 13 km of pot hole hell if you don’t have 4WD or if you tow a caravan. I was here nearly a year ago and the road was still the same! Shame on Shoalheaven council

Fantastic place to stay very kid friendly great pool area for the family

Taken over by obnoxious tourists. Lost its soul. Has fleas in cabins now dogs allowed. Staff great though only good thing left.

Beautiful location spoiled by the prison camp atmosphere, no fun, no kids, no fires and no camping friendly relaxed atmosphere. Locked out of toilets at 10 am at 70 years old not fun and couldn't even exit gate shortly after 10 am as pass code had expired. Don't know what I would have done with a sick child or a husband that needed medical attention, smashed through the gate! Been there 30 years ago but wont be back ever. My husband and I have camped 200,000 km overseas, this was one of our worst experiences. Try Mystery Bay. Not an option to give zero stars.
