Mardy's Cafe
The staff were pleasant and polite, and others seemed to enjoy the food. I just don’t think it was for us.My hot chocolate was too weak, and my partner had a pot of tea that was the same. It wasn’t an extra strong English breakfast tea that was requested.The big breakfast was super oily, the sausage wasn’t premium, too much bread and the eggs weren’t poached properly (almost a raw egg). The only saving grace was the beans.It’s not something we will be going back to.

5 STARS! Recently just moved to Darwin and already found my daily coffee spot! Speechless on how this small café business runs there joint. Amazing coffees, delicious food and most polite staff I have seen in a long time.Definitely coming again and again!

Lately the mini brekky I order hasn't been as I requested. The bacon is jot crispy at all, the mushrooms aren't cooked enough. Pity, I actually gave a review earlier this year saying how good the bacon was must be a new cook.

This is my favourite go to cafe, my husband and I generally order the same things, the toasties and muffins are great, as has been most of the food we order.. the owner is a lovely man and greets you, he loves chatting to his customers. However we do notice a drop in customer service when he is not in attendance. There is one particular server that is rather rude. Just recently all the tables were full and they had closed off the side area, i asked if we could sit there and was told no due to them mopping floors for closing. This of course is perfectly acceptable, however when you have 2.5 hours left until closing, its a bit much. So unfortunately they didn’t receive our custom that day. The owner would be very disappointed to see his regulars turned away like that.

Bloody noisy. Being in the middle of a kids play space outside Kmart next door to Wendy's. The wait staff couldn't hear me which made ordering a skinny cappuccino very difficult. Coffee Club next time.Visited again this morning 04Aug22.Much quieter at 8:30am. Had a good cappuccino and a bacon and egg toastie. Delicious.
