I was looking everywhere for an affordable John frusciante vinyl and found one on this site ! Delivery was so quick came in 3 days to rural Australia, Doug emailed me about the dispatching and was so kind, got my vinyl this morning and am so so happy thank you rare records <3

The reviews are true -- do NOT use their online store.Weeks of no action was followed by Doug blaming me for not calling sooner when the order was two weeks late. I ordered a single poster and wait a decent amount of time for them to at least start to mail it out to me -- but Doug did nothing.I had to contact my credit card company and complain, and suddenly Doug comes of the woodwork, saying I'm hurting his small business, and he'll send me the poster ASAP. Free of charge no less! Read the reviews, I'm not the only one.Fool me once...

Great experience ordering from the US. Had a question about my order, received an exceptionally quick (maybe an hour or 2) response about my question from Doug. Immediate tracking after question was answered and order was shipped. Tracking was great. Seems like Rare Records has it all together. Highly recommend purchasing from them if they have something you are looking for!

NEVER order off their website because you wont get anything but your money taken and a couple excuses. There is 10+ reviews with the exact same unfixed problem. Such a shame because I would actually spend a-lot of money on this website.

Found two CDs from a band that I heard in the early 2000's (The Grand Silent System).Order the CDs and they turned up pretty quickly and were in the condition as reported on the site.I would absolutely buy again from these guys.

I bought this Tool memorabilia whilst on holiday in Melbourne and I couldn't find any one I trusted to ship glass back to qld so the legends at Rare Records actually kept it safe for five long years (I'll be honest I kind of forgot about it) me and my wife moved to WA and picked it up on the way through. Since then it's made three trips across Australia and I'm stoked with how it still reminds me of the quality of service I have always received when dealing with Rare Records. It's taken me over a decade to write this review and for that gents I apologise. Keep up the great work and hope to get some more awesome stuff from you in the future.

After nearly a month of no communication after I was told that they were moving warehouse and that my poster would be sent, I’ve just requested PayPal to refund me (after a request of a refund went unanswered by RR). Reading other reviews, I guess I’m not the only one who didn’t receive their item. I 100% support independent record stores but won’t be buying at rare records again.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!! I bought three posters online NOVEMBER last year spent $100, the company reached out and said they had been moving warehouses and one poster had been misplaced. This was not an issue I said I would just grab a refund. Months later after multiple messages and calls they still have not shipped my posters even after picking a replacement poster. They will not provide me a refund either and have just stolen my money. Don’t buy from here
